It'll def seem a long 90 minutes tonight....at least we've had 2 attempts although 'not on goal'.

Speed is everything. Otherwise if the other guy is faster than you, you're in trouble from the word go. You ALWAYS require at least one defender with pace. We haven't got one and the result of that speaks for itself.
Rodgers has pace to burn and played centre back for Arsenal reserves...but can he read the game and keep concentration, not to mention keep errors to a minimum

The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Time For A New Keeper

I remember the time we brought in an out of work Simon Brown in to cover, Dunn then proceeded to have a stinker, Brown came in to replace him but he also looked suspect. Dunn then worked his way back to first choice under the guidance of Simon Brown's new role as goalkeeping coach, and only then did Dunn start to resemble a much more confident and assured stopper.....just when things were looking up, Simon Brown was then offered a playing role at Cambridge I agree, the only time Dunny looked capable was when Simon Brown was coaching him, a purple patch..............he indeed has the odd good game , but is all too often at fault for goals and also unsettles the defence by never commanding his area ! He has not progressed and now looks unlikely to really make the grade. Get a good spine in the team .....and you get a promotion team...starting with the keeper... Everyone makes mistakes but for the Keeper it's usually fatal. [/quote]

Just about sums it up when you know when the trust quiz is but not a home game, at least the quiz will be a sell out.
Well at least the trust quiz night will be better organised and not a total b@lls up.

Well the time is nearly upon us, I would like to see what an experienced or tactically sound Manager ( and Assistant) would make out of our squad. The team is clearly under-achieving.
The team formations, tactics and above all the substitutions are more often than not ....quite simply unbelievable.
Nobody can now complain about the Chairman making a commitment, even if a bit late.
The season is clearly over unless this latest judder turns our attention back to the relegation zone, where teams are picking up points.
I, like you all, desperately want the Cobblers to do well and find this so so disappointing.
Changes must be made at the top if this situation is not rectified and we get the most out of players , playing them in their natural positions.
The attendance last night reflected a growing apathy that can only get worse, once we lose supporters enthusiasm it will be difficult to get them back. It's all been said before! Shame.

Bad management
A very poor gate tonight...the sign of the rest of the season
If we can't beat Morecambe and Barnet....there's not much hope
Well at least I haven't wasted over 3 hours travelling...first home game missed. Good Call.

I wish fans would get off his back, and cheer / get behind him, appreciate the good things he does...on Saturday that was more than most. He is certainly the most improved player and even if he loses concentration or is caught upfield, he regularly has the speed to get back and cover. Although clearly not the finished article, he wouldn't be here if that was so and he was without a fault. If all our players put the effort in like him and had his pace then...... anyway league tables/ player of the year tables don't lie ....do they
