I agree, he's also been there and done it so even if he doesnt seem to be contributing on the pitch I am sure he will be helping out in the dressing room with the younger players and maybe even supporting Jon and Colin.
I agree & think it's probably "written in the stars" .....he won't get an assist for the winner against the Gills....but his was the major assist controlling an awkward hump forward with skill & composure on the ball , turning and laying off the ball & opening a space for Hondermarck to move into .
His legs may have gone but he still has skill, composure , knowledge & hold-up play that is on different level. Defenders are clearly very wary of his reputation , but so are Referees. Yet no Yellow Card & sh1thousery this time out .....if only we could play to his remaining strengths ....he might just, really might, supply a killer goal that gets over the line in this promotion dog fight.
