We need to blend the history of the stand, and this thread. I therefore propose "The New East Stand - FACT"
Maybe they can get every post listed in this thread transposed onto rolls of wallpaper and use it to decorate the boxes?

more lies I see then although I suppose you still have tomorrow to go Just wondering why you have a meeting which is highlighted and praised and hyped to the heavens and then we hear just about nothing about it, so who was present and representing what groups? what was discussed? when is the next meeting and who is invited? is their a "ban" on certain topics or questions? what is the aim and ambition of the SAB did anyone take minutes ? what points of agreements were there/ what points of disagreements were there? and why again is there comparable silence since the meeting (especially given the big announcements, video interviews from TC, mentions etc by KT) The only surprise to this post was that it wasn't timed as sent at 23.59.

It really is something how low the world's first Supporters Trust has fallen. The sad part is it is all self inflicted and they just can't see it. • Relationship with the club broken • Relationship with the fanbase broken • Relationship with their own travel club broken • Relationship with the Council broken • Relationship with Goodwill Solutions broken • Relationship with the Cilldara broken And it will all be everyone else's fault. They just cannot conduct themselves in a civil manner. Remember that much trumpeted social media policy now displayed on their website? Here are just a couple of takes from it: • Directors should be an ambassador for the Trust. Comments made on social media should reflect the Trust’s values and be consistent with its strategies and policies, especially in respect of strategies and policies endorsed by Trust members, • Facts should be checked before posting, especially when responding to hostile or aggressive posts or those who challenge the decisions, actions or inactions of the board. • Differences of opinion should be dealt with respectfully. Compare this with any number of Derek's posts recently. His posts have a complete disregard for the policy. The policy is not worth the paper it is written on. Once Derek called a well respected supporter, who gives up his time as a volunteer to host a messageboard, a p**** last night, that should have been it. He should have been asked to resign there and then. No questions asked. Whatever Derek's perceived right in his own mind to say that, it was unacceptable. He has to go. He won't and no action will be taken. Why? Because to remove Derek takes them under the required number of directors and they are finished. So Derek and everyone else on the board has licence to act as they please, with complete disregard for any rules, regulations, policies, discipline and general good standards because they can't replace them. They just limp on. (see the AGM taking place with less than the minimum number of members present required. The meeting was invalid but the Trust don't care because they are powerless to do anything, likewise see Ian Atkins being co-opted back on despite attending a grand total of zero board meetings. Attendance at games seems to be crucial for Derek, not so much Trust directors attending their own board meetings it seems. Ever.) You couldn't make this farce up. Anyway back to Derek's latest breach of the social media policy. 'We didn't see it', will be the defence. We don't look at the Hotel End. Of course not, but the Trust board were quick enough to threaten legal action against the volunteer supporter running this board a few weeks ago when a letter appeared on here. They saw that. But if it is one of their representatives calling a fellow supporter a p****, move on, nothing to see here. No wonder the club/FAB want nothing to do with the Trust. I don't blame them for a moment. I wouldn't want them near anything our club does either. They are not ambassadors for the club. They do not represent Northampton Town supporters. All of this of course, comes after 4 (FOUR) people turned up at the Trust AGM, and 25% of that number was everyone's favourite legal advisor. And this comes barely 24 hours after the Trust wrote a public, passive/aggressive response to the Council leader, that they were clearly very proud of (it wouldn't have been published otherwise) saying, "Can we suggest arranging a meeting face to face in the coming weeks? - we can then also touch on the role of member liaison as in future we would certainly welcome working with a council representative who sits at the table without clear vested interests and, irrespective of his or her own views, has the capability to fairly and accurately represent the Trust’s position." So, as long as you agree with us, do as we tell you, don't question us, and don't mind being called a p**** on a public messageboard, all while a board member regularly questions the integrity of the Council in this process on a public forum, despite that integrity passing the test of a Judicial Review, we'll welcome you in. What an invitation! I'm sure there are a queue of Councillors wanting to jump on board with an organisation that has such an upstanding reputation. It is very sad but things won't change until the current board leave. Join us and change us is the cry. 5 board members joined last year. All 5 resigned. What does that say? It must by the club's fault. It must be the Council's fault. It must be Nigel's fault. Maybe now it's Natwest's fault. If the messages they post in public are anything to go by, lord knows what sort of things they say and share in private meetings. It is hardly a welcoming environment. Supporters are not silly. They know if their club is heading the right way and being looked after. They also know when the Trust are out of line. They have voted with their feet. They turn up to games at Sixfields in record numbers (that's how you judge the health of a club, not how many attend a club AGM which is for shareholders only, that's not its main function) while the Trust AGM (which is the Trust's most high profile event of the year) is attended by a number that could fit in one taxi. Consider that for a moment. From over 600 at the Exeter Rooms to four at the Obelisk Centre. It is beyond belief.
This is from the Trust's own website. "We commit to being democratic, open, inclusive and accountable to the membership." Really? You do anything but. You have killed what should be a great organisation. It should not a fan club but a critical friend acting with honesty, integrity and accountability. The current Trust board do none of this. Go now, in fact, you should have gone years ago. You are not fit for office. Let the roles lay dormant and allow others to come in and resurrect the Supporters Trust without your illogical, half baked, aggressive stance hanging over the scene. They won't step forward with you on the scene, and quite frankly, no one could blame anyone for not doing so.
A superb, well reasoned and constructed post. Difficult to see anything in there that your usual run of the mill supporter would disagree with (maybe that's the problem, as we're not on the same level as the "super" fans?). Sadly, it won't sink in as it'll be a case of, out of all of this, "our relationship with Goodwill hasn't broken down". I don't know any of the main characters in all of this personally, but you've got to wonder how the board do feel when one of their fellow board members displays such apathy to their own social media policy.

Hmm ok so you had no personal or business dealings with KT or NTFC?
I take the answer is zero games, just trying to establish why you tried and failed to take over the Trust when haven't even been to a game in 8 years and live 4000 miles away.
I have great respect for many of the people you have tried to belittle - you know fellow supporters
Andy Roberts, the guy who has written 2 books on the Cobblers, a real nice guy trying to protect our football club
Roger Averill who was the Trust chair for many years, who continues to this day to raise money for the Trust, who has spend tens of thousands of hours and pounds in supporting NTFC and arranging travel for 1000's of Cobblers fans
Bob Clarke, Trust Board member, season ticket holder for 40 + years, the guy who paid for a table at the 125 Year Anniversary dinner as the Trust itself were refused a table and then also funding the recent Trust event of hosting Ukrainian children in hospitality at a recent game
Ian Atkins - whose treatment by the club since joining the board has been disgraceful
Dave Cadden and the 100's if not 1000's of other fans and people of Northampton who want a bigger, better football club, who want the council and owners to do the right thing.
The 250 000 council tax payers of Northampton who had to witness first hand lost opportunity and greed shown by the previous owner and the actions of the then council in facilitating those events
These are the people I am fighting for, yes I get carried away, I get frustrated and just like the post immediately below this one, where I am labelled a joke by someone who is happy to hide behind his obscure name, happy to endure the abuse and bullying.
As a complete aside to all of this healthy (?) debate that has spread for four or five pages now in 12h, is it only me who reads this one and hears that Norwegian (?) football commentator from the 1990s when their side beat England?

According to the latest computer end of season forecast we are already safe with 48 points and that will probably prove to be correct. It has Cambridge once again finishing just above the line in 20th position with 46 points. We are forecast to finish 10th on 66 points, another 18 points from our remaining 12 games and that would be more than acceptable.
Also has Exeter occupying the last relegation place, forecasting that they will only gain two more points between now and the seasons end!

The guy who headed their first wasn't very big but he still had a free header
Looking back at the highlights (?) the goalscorer lines up goalside of Manny and is never actually marked at all. A great delivery in did the rest.

Their manager thought they should have had 2 or 3 stonewall penalties. Sitting high up (centre) in the West I saw one 50/50 decision (but we were at home!?) and 2 that really should have had their forward(s) booked for blatant simulation. Me thinks Mr Johnson is feeling the pressure!!
Their manager also thanked their supporters for turning out "in their numbers for another long journey" Methinks he needs Specsavers.
