we have differing opinions but you appear to be missing the point. The point is that your messages are offensive in the extreme and personal too and I personally did not find it at all pleasant to read them.. The plain fact is that this message board standards have nosedived since two particular bedroom warriors began to post salacious comments. Unfortunately some/most bedroom lawyers fail to comprehend when they have crossed the line. Your drift on personal affronts to others opinions is childish, So please leave your bedroom, get a partner and find better things to do than slag/disagree with everyone off on here, I get the idea you just love conflict which makes you a very very sad human being,

I refuse in any way shape or form to dwell on the many negatives of these posts. All I will say is I hope and pray that the obvious mistakes made are never repeated.
We must move on to bigger and better things. There is no doubt there was universal agreement surrounding the appointment of Curle. Now is his time. Like all true Cobblers I will look forward to this season. This season has brought out the worst in some of our support. But the slate should be wiped clean. KT gets a fresh start, and hopefully our full backing.
I'm not being dramatic when I say it will take a while to relax and really enjoy the fact that we should avoid relegation.
Well done today Cobblers. I felt genuine pride for the fans and the team..
Please don't do that to us again...

I was angry at Curle for his team selection , tactics and refusal to change things during the game . I am now questioning if he is Boothroyd in disguise after his post match interview in which he said the result had nothing to do with the formation and that we kept our shape !! What do you take us supporters for Curle ?? Don't insult our intelligence . No one knew who to pick up , there were massive gaps and it was actually hard to work out who was playing where on the pitch . I was pitch side and could see and hear the players who were clearly not happy . To not change it to 442 after 20 minutes is one thing , but to keep it the same after 45 is pure incompetence . Also , to leave Powell on his own in central midfield in his first full game for God knows how long was hanging the guy out to dry . What were you trying to prove Curle ? Hope KT gave you the b******ng of your life after the game because you let the whole town and team down .

Really ..............its funny that I can remember a spell in CW's reign that he was subjected to a degree of 'get rid', 'clueless tactics' and so on. I can also remember the loss against Dagenham with a display not too dissimiliar to yesterdays effort.
You seem to have views and opinions which fly in the face of courtesy and common sense.

So its a draw . Regarding Kiplings IF - silly me! I have followed some of your posts on this Forum and am struck by the general stupidity of most of them. This latest one is childishly silly and achieves nothing. Maybe best you disappear as it may well do many on here a favour.

My opinion on curle is that he will do the job he came into the club to achieve (keep us in the league).
But is not the man to take us forward - and of season parting of ways maybe the best outcome.
yep thats the plan,

No i'd rather stay at home then watch a load of hoof and hope sh1te, there is no excuse saying oh its Div 2, play the fcuking thing on the ground and play through teams,
Curle brilliant tactics were, hoof to a dwarf when he is marked by a giant.

Just remember it only needs one bad apple to ruin a box of them, judging by the stories about him, I'm glad we let him go ,not that I think Curle would risk destroying the team spirit anyway.

I dont know so much, if you look at the players and "strength" then i'd say both Taylor and Pierre in defence, Bridge and O' Toole in midfield, and Hoskins and WiLLIAMS up front have that "strength". Maybe you've got to play them alL, or most of them at leastl in the same game...make it ugly like so many other teams do!! We do though have a number of lightweight players in our team who are getting bullied out of games at League two level, yet like you say, if they have the time and space then they can produce. As the ground gets heavier, the weather worse etc, I cant see the situation getting any easier!! I have one question for Curle WHY? Morias Williams didn't start the game, unless he dosen't want to win
This whole sorry game was truly a public humiliation for All concerned. A lad next to me who had two sons said, " i gave um a chance and its still sh1te up here i don't think i'll bother anymore and stay at home"
There needs to be a root and branch enquiry into the team selection, goings on or not as the case may be. There's lots of smoke and mirrors at Sixfields, but no entertainment

It's an interesting selection puzzle on Saturday . Hoskins is the automatic, in theory but will he last a whole game up front on his own ? I think you have to play a straight two at the top if Williams plays and so that will either be Hoskins or Morias , both of which have been preferred wide . The shortcomings of the transfer window are showing through now because Sordell, is out , O'Toole's fitness is questionable at best and Bowditch is not considered a striker any more !

Agree...Most of West stand do nothing about getting an atmosphere going..but then again the POSH and IRA songs are moronic... North Stand is also embarrassing..make it a tenner to get in, and don't start me on the east stand, even though the atmosphere is better then most

People are missing the point here . The supporters have one chance to listen to a managers post match comments and there is one person selected to ask the questions . If that one person knows nothing about football and is not taken seriously,we as supporters learn nothing . It's not a case of switching managers because there is no other choice . This manager has been employed as the manager and he is not out of his depth .Unfortunately, his boss doesn't appear to think so according to his comments so that's where the problem lies .

What !!!!? How can you possibly blame Cornell for the goal ?? It was appalling defending . Pierre didn’t challenge Akinde for the knock on and Goode was far too slow to get to the scorer . It was the sort of central defending I would expect to see in a girls Sunday league game. Other than that we defended well although gave far too many free kicks away and were fortunate with at least two penalty appeals if not more . We just had nothing going forward at all and looked a bit off the pace in midfield at times . Curle won’t get away with playing Hoskins up front on his own at home . Why on Earth he brought Powell on instead of Williams or Morias I have no clue . As for posters that criticise Cornell that didn’t go to the game and just look at statistics - the word prat comes to mind
Wow calm down, your gonna have a heart attack, everyone is allowed an opinion,if you don't agree don't get hysterical and start throwing insults about, it make you sound like a child(unless you are)

Yawn ..signing off as cannot talk to fools like this ..shock horror crowd appeals for 3 last minute penalties :-) Only the handball looked worth one to me...happy with that missing several starters..particular Bostwick and captain taken out with a rugby tackle early doors(also not given)
Safely say you are not the worst team at SB this season as Morecambe were shocking ...but your 2 fat lumps at the back were your most creative players and we voted you second worst...thankfully we will not have to play you again for a decade ..tata
I fear you are having that lucky season that you get ever 10 years or so,(like us) get real your a bottom 2 divs even non-league club, If you get promoted( the mangers will leave for a club with more ambition) then good luck we'll see very very soon

loads of positives today.
The team looks pretty well organized and balanced, their goal you could do nothing about as it For the goal Cornell should probably have come out quicker but he will gain valuable experience from playing in these games.
Pierre looked really sharp again for his goal, showed strength to keep the challenge from the other centre back was a big positive, Taylor was poor and has got to stop shouting all the time at other players, he does get teams relegated i wonder why
We needed that second goal sitting back against 10 men tells you all you need to know about Curles brief for this season, keep us up or get sacked
I thought Goode looked more solid at centre back today and his positioning has definitely better
Looking forward to the away games more now,
