Us with 11 players out v BR with 10 players out. They have a lot of midfield players out and are worried that we will control the midfield, wouldn't that be nice.

Our old friend Charles Breakspeare appointed referee, how many of our players has he sent off over the years? He has been very busy with his cards again this season. Just to compare he has 50% more yellows from fewer games than the referee we have on Saturday.

Why do we leave opposition players hugging the touch line with acres of space? it has been noticeable in several recent games. Opposition managers must think it easy to attack down 1 side and leave a player out wide on the other side then switch play because none of our defenders will be anywhere near him. Better to have him marked and attempt to cut out the ball when they switch.

Bolton's players red card upheld and he now has a 3 match suspension, Evatt has been charged by the FA for his conduct towards the match officials. Guess he was just unlucky with his appeals.

No team has gone down with 51 points in the last 10 seasons so we need another 10 points from 15 games to reach that magical figure, it would take a disastrous run of results not to achieve that. Towards the end of the season we have home games to come against Port Vale, Carlisle and Exeter but on second thoughts they will all be fighting desperately to stay up so perhaps we should accept that we are doomed.

If you score 3 goals you shouldn't be losing games and 3 of those conceded originated from corners.
Earlier in the season people were saying we had too many full backs and are now complaining about a "lack of depth".

Orient also have 6 players out injured, Happe and Sotiriou both went off on Saturday and will be missing. In 42 games at Orient we have 10 wins, 13 draws and 19 defeats and 5 of those 10 wins have been in our last unbeaten 8 visits. As they have only scored 14 goals in their 14 home games we have the chance to improve our poor run of conceding 22 goals in our last 10 away games, they have also only scored more than 1 home goal in 4 games. They have conceded 19 home goals but 13 of these came in 4 defeats to Portsmouth, Stevenage, Oxford and Derby, so only 6 conceded in the other 10 games. In their 31 games they have a quite impressive 11 clean sheets as opposed to our 6
2 late Barnsley goals ended their run of 8 unbeaten games taking 20 points which included winning 3-0 at Portsmouth and 1-0 at home to Bolton. We have to hope that 1 or 2 of our walking wounded recover to make the squad and it looks like the away support could be about our average for the season of just over 700. Hopefully we can extend our recent impressive record at the O's and come home with some points.

Bolton manager says he will contest both red cards, don't think he has much chance with his comments to the referee. He also says that he is not sure the player even touched McGowan, he seems to have got a touch of the Ferguson's.

Perhaps they could keep their current run of form going until we play them, lost the last 3 including a 5-2 thumping at Wycombe who had only won 2 of their last 20 games. Their 'keeper who fumbled Pinnock's cross/shot into his own goal was at fault for 3 of the Wycombe goals and they have scored 3 own goals in the last 2 games.

That is not necessarily true, usually when Sam plays we play 3 up front in a 433 formation. Gape, Hondermarck and Leonard would have been in midfield and Hoskins, (instead of Appere) Bowie and Pinnock in the front 3. Hoskins has played up front in a 2 with a 442 formation this season with Pinnock as the 4th midfielder but if we are playing with a back 4 we don't play with a loan striker in a 451 formation. So if Sam had played it would have been 2 or 3 up front.

I know Bolton's first choice 'keeper was out with a wrist injury but his replacement wasn't very good.
What was the group of about 20 people singing outside the ground all about?

Well deserved point in an entertaining game which we would have settled for before the game. A little disappointing after leading for 70 minutes but a draw was a fair result. Bowie was superb, took his goal well, was constantly fouled and was a real menace all game. Gape had a decent debut but we found it strange that being a defensive midfielder he was pushed forward in the second half. Good double save from Moulden who apart from a miskick did nothing wrong. Rather odd that having "sold out" their 1473 ticket allocation they only brought 1370, other teams have brought more.
