Under JB 3 goals in 4 matches, in the previous 7 under KC 1 goal. Although all I think we can draw from this is that are attackers are hot garbage.

Can't argue with that evaluation of our strikers.
102  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Home against the Dale on Tuesday night 23.02.21 on: February 24, 2021, 18:23:40 pm
In 3 of his 4 games we haven't scored.

I just think there could be more balance with some views and to suggest nobody else could do better is ridiculous.

The world has gone crazy.

Look at the results!

Who could do better blah blah like Brady is **** Pep Guardiola.

I do wonder how thoroughly KT, Bower & Whiting have been going through the applications/made any approaches to under contract managers...

Can ntfclad give us any indication as to what's going on behind the scenes?

They'll have done **** all because they are waiting for Brady to win a game then will announce him. Cheapest option.

I'm absolutely amazed that so many people are backing Brady so much.

We've been here before! Talk about a football club going in cycles, the fan base does too.
106  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Home against the Dale on Tuesday night 23.02.21 on: February 23, 2021, 22:56:05 pm
KT waited too long to make the change.
107  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Home against the Dale on Tuesday night 23.02.21 on: February 23, 2021, 22:50:23 pm
He said income would be down £3m, he didn't mention the increased solidarity money, the increased TV deal money, the income from IFollow, the wage budget cut, the savings on matchday costs and he certainly didn't mention the £1m windfall from the sale of Charlie Goode.

If we really are going to "lose" £3m this year then perhaps he needs to take a bigger look at the whole business model and his part in it. Also, he says it like we are the only ones in that boat. Stands to reason that every club is going to lose money, however some have speculated and may actually end up losing more money as a result, others have speculated and will lose less than they might have done. We just played it straight down the middle.

We've got no money. Never have done and never will do. Even when we thought we did, it was too good to be true.

Cook turned down the Cardiff job last month as he was only offered a 6 month short term contract and he wanted something longer term. On that basis alone why would he choose to come to us on presumably less money than Cardiff offered him on a similar short term deal?

Much as I would like to see him here I don't think there's any chance.....

I agree, no chance.
109  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Home against the Dale on Tuesday night 23.02.21 on: February 23, 2021, 22:42:51 pm
Not sure if you heard the interview but Bradys full point was that he wasnt allowed to play Miller for more than 45 minutes, and that things had changed from the days when being fit meant being fit (and therefore able to play the full 90 mins).
Physiologically, I dont understand why if his hamstring is healed he would be at more risk of pulling it again if he played beyond 45 minutes. I would have thought there's less chance of tearing a hamstring as the game progresses and you tire and slow.
The other one was that Dale only had one clear chance to our six. Questionable I'd say.

Yes think they had at least three clear-ish chances?

It was a poor game though and I drifted off a couple of times!

If this had been an external appointment and this is what had happened there would be uproar. Don't be clouded by sentiment.
111  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: New Manager on: February 23, 2021, 22:07:35 pm
He can't keep putting it off. He needs to act by Saturday. Whoever he picks.

(If he cares)
112  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Home against the Dale on Tuesday night 23.02.21 on: February 23, 2021, 21:12:11 pm
Lack of tactical nous, urgency and substitutions = end of the experiment. Get someone in for Saturday.

+1
113  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: New Manager on: February 22, 2021, 23:58:21 pm
I assume the club are simply waiting for us to win a game before announcing Jon Brady?
114  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Away at the MK Dons Saturday 20/02/21 on: February 22, 2021, 19:27:30 pm
Free kick or not, moving ball or not, you've still got to defend it.
115  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: New Manager on: February 21, 2021, 17:54:26 pm
Because, at the end of the day, it's a form of entertainment. At this moment in time in particular, I'd rather have 90 minutes of actually enjoying myself rather than 90 minutes spent being bored.

I'd much rather be entertained too.

More than anything I want to win though.
116  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: New Manager on: February 21, 2021, 14:17:27 pm
Why are people just happy with playing nice football?

117  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: New Manager on: February 20, 2021, 19:29:16 pm
Or gives the fans 3 months to get on their back and start calling my for their head after being relegated with KCs squad

That's going to happen no matter what.
118  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Away at the MK Dons Saturday 20/02/21 on: February 20, 2021, 18:56:55 pm
Also, just to mention that everyone on twitter from MK seems to be a teenager obssessed with banter and memes. It might be obvious considering the club itself is that age, but very noticeably more childish than most other clubs.

It's legitimately embarrassing.
119  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: New Manager on: February 20, 2021, 18:52:54 pm
Iíd disagree. Pep couldn't even lead this squad to survival.

Give Brady till the end of the season then take stock.

If Brady isnít to be the man we would be a much better proposition for someone else at the end of the term.

Game of opinions!

My view, whoever it is, appoint permanently now, if anything it gives them a headstart on what needs doing in the summer.
120  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: New Manager on: February 20, 2021, 18:23:09 pm
Either back Brady fully, none of this end of season bollocks, or appoint someone else full time.
