All Iím saying is be careful what you post, saying itís a rumour wonít help you if the club turn hostile and issue a liable claim.

They can sue me if they want. I've got about £2.

Think the club "might" well be aware of all these rumours already mate.

I have defended the Trust on here but now is the time they have to reveal what they have and evidence it.
The time for dithering is over.
Over to the Trust.

Agreed.

Also think it's absolutely fair for people to defend the Trust.
43  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Redevelopment Closer Than Ever? on: June 26, 2021, 12:00:01 pm
If they do have anything of substance about anything that is Ďbelow boardí and havenít released it, theyíve f*cked up with that too.
Letís face it, the Trust are finished.

+1

Does anybody really believe the Trust don't have an agenda.

Absolute bÚllÚcks.

A load of dream journals about us becoming the next St Pauli?

 Cheesy
46  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Next week's open house on: June 26, 2021, 10:26:27 am
Evidence what?

It's a rumour.

Club owners sell shares, earn some money.

I ain't accusing anyone of anything. Just stating that's the rumours of the Trust big reveal.

47  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Next week's open house on: June 26, 2021, 08:18:54 am
Any link available to where that is revealed pls?

I should have said "rumoured big reveal".
48  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Redevelopment Closer Than Ever? on: June 26, 2021, 00:51:00 am
Pay 3m and finish the stand.

Pay 1m to knock it down then 8m to build a great stand.

I know which one makes business sense.

The Trusts BIG REVEAL is that the chairman and DB made a bit of money from the 5USport deal. WOW WEEEE.

Trust right now is a shambles.

Bang on about being open and transparent yet don't do it themselves.

They're not gonna get charge of the Club, thankfully.
50  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Redevelopment Closer Than Ever? on: June 15, 2021, 18:08:12 pm
Itís got to be worth sounding out the club around their willingness to accept a crowd funding or bond scheme.

I suspect that's already been done.

I for one am glad our new recruitment panel are casting their net far and wide.
53  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Summer 2021 Transfer Window on: June 10, 2021, 20:58:17 pm
Someone said they don't care what opposition fans say about players?

I don't understand that. Generally fans are right about players in the main.

Yes there was the Ricky Holmes case but I struggle to think of many others where fans have said someone isn't very good and he's turned out to be good?

You poll 100 Cobblers fans their opinion on a player and the majority will be about right, of course you get the odd mentalist.
54  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Summer 2021 Transfer Window on: June 10, 2021, 15:11:16 pm
Just stuck £20 on Cobblers to be relegated.
55  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Training Facilities on: May 22, 2021, 00:50:24 am
***** hell we are a professional football team, not a Sunday side thatís glad to have a changing facility.
Most professional clubs have their own trading grounds, it helps attract players and improves training.
All this was identified by KT when he joined, not having our own training facility puts us behind the competition.

The problem with your statement is that it quite simply isn't true mate.

I've literally just searched 5 or 6 random clubs off the top of my head. Fun fact, only one of them had a very specific owned training ground. Those clubs?

Oxford United - Train at Oxford Sports Park where they have 4 dedicated pitches....much like our set up with Moulton.

Rochdale - Train at the cricket club.

Colchester United - Own training ground

Swindon Town - Train at a local community/Council facility.

Gillingham - Pay for the use of a council facility.

Caveat to this, its late, I didn't search much and I know lots do own their own training facility too. Point is there are lots like us too.

I'd love us to own our very own training ground and academy space btw but people act like Moulton is a shambles when it quite simply is not.

56  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Data Based Approach on: May 19, 2021, 08:17:05 am
It's all becoming a computer game... Roll Eyes
But haven't clubs been using Football Manager for a while anyway?

Sounds like we've been using Striker from the SNES instead.
57  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: player pathway on: May 18, 2021, 23:55:17 pm
I actually think too much emphasis gets put on youth players and an academy, I get the romanticism of a local player coming good but reality is we don't get to see the best of them anyway.

Name me one club with a top class academy that has progressed up through the league and held their own in the Championship or Prem WITHOUT a **** load of cash.

A decent youth system is helpful and important BUT if you don't have all the other pieces around it then it's pointless.
58  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Training Facilities on: May 18, 2021, 23:48:30 pm
**** hell the way some of you people belittle the club really makes me wonder if you actually support them.

I 100% am on board with criticism where it is fair....on this one though I see zero need to criticise, people moaned about training on the pitch last season....they're sorting out the training pitches....

Yeah it ain't gonna be Melwood but **** me give them a break.
59  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Data Based Approach on: May 18, 2021, 23:45:44 pm
Good to know we are 10 years late to the party on this.
