Agree that the concrete block needs painting claret or something doing. It looks a bit off right now.

Pedant alert*

I think it's 88 extra South stand end. I guess its symmetrical so 176 extra on the wings.

As a side note. I think the concrete wall behind the central seats should be painted claret in the future to help the T and F blend in better.

I did give you the pedant alert.  Smiley

You couldn't put a better case for the need for more seats than the home attendance figures this season so far (wonderfully tracked here). Of course I know the club are now putting seats in the east stand - let's hope when they're available they all get used to the end of the season. Will really start to show the growth even more.

Crazy and amazing... 13 point lead, what a day this is and what a time this is to be a Cobbler!

Plymouth 2 - 2 Oxford... I'd like that to stay the same...
5  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Deal Done? on: November 23, 2015, 12:58:16 pm
Wouldn't be the first time the Chron have got it badly wrong... remember the "Expected to be completed this Wednesday" previous headline.. then we heard nothing. I'm with the thought process that it's just to ensure that the protest doesn't go ahead tonight. At the very worse it'll thin out the numbers.

I'd take one - Alexander Media & Production Services (AMPS) Limited

Just let me know what you need and when.

Defo a great idea!

Could do with Scunny to pull their finger out, 1-0 down to Exeter, appreciate I'm being greedy!
8  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Jacob Blyth Vs Clive Platt on: September 07, 2013, 20:39:44 pm
It was funny to see the two guys in the lower west stand that had been slating Platt the whole game be actually angry that Platt scored and hardly celebrated. Some people seem to actually want us to fail to be proved right....
9  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Morecambe on: March 12, 2013, 19:58:33 pm
And Rotherham losing - long way to go though!

Port Vale losing!
11  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Aldershot - Tuesday on: January 26, 2013, 21:58:33 pm
Feel bad for them, I was there Tuesday (with an Aldershot mate, so in the main stand with the home fans), obviously didn't reveal my true identity - they were very complimentary about us and our football and also clapped when the attendance was announced towards the away fans saying it was good for a Tuesday. Of all the clubs I have hatred towards, I find it difficult to vent it at a genuine community football club. Didn't like their previous manager, but the club have been through the thick of it with going bust and getting back into the league. Just my meandering thoughts.

Does anybody know at roughly what point in the process we can expect some c**t from the Liberal Demotw*ts to "call it in" and leave my dreams a smashed and broken carcaus lying lifeless in the dust?

This made me lol  Grin

Great minds thing alike, or is it fools seldom differ? I went and purchased mine yesterday on the back of a good run and hopefully league two football next year!
17  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Burton on: March 20, 2012, 21:47:16 pm
Fantastic set of results, very pleased with tonight... so happy to be the team getting the late goal for a change!!
18  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Vale Match Thread on: October 14, 2011, 19:14:51 pm
I've not been anti-Johnson, in fact I thought it could still work - but when does he start to take the blame? After tonight you want to hear him come out and say what he's doing is not working or there is no credibility surely?
19  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Time To Pipe Down on: August 31, 2011, 19:26:08 pm
Please do NOT remove your straight jacket during the relegation fight - complain and moan about the state of your club after it's too late... yea, good one, I prefer to express discontent now in the hope the Chairman (who I have huge respect for) picks up on the fans concern and maybe puts pressure on the man who is under-performing in his job.
20  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Transfer window on: August 31, 2011, 18:31:11 pm
Should Bayo get injured , which is likely, who will score

Even if Bayo doesn't get injured who will score - we're not exactly beating teams with lots of goals...
