Beware, if you select the credit option towards next season's season ticket and we have more lockdowns, only those who select the donate option might be able to attend...

"THOSE SELECTING THIS OPTION AND RENEWING SEASON TICKETS FOR NEXT SEASON WILL HAVE PRIORITY ACCESS TO GAMES SHOULD CAPACITY RESTRICTIONS BE IN EFFECT."
163  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Injury Updates.... on: March 04, 2021, 20:37:58 pm
Harriman could play CB at a push, but we really are lacking in that area so must be on the lookout for an ooc centre back now we know the extent of these two injuries, unless young Dyche gets the call...

Thankfully, we only play with 2 CB's now!  Grin

Happy with this, good luck Jon, Rico & Sammo!  Smiley

Good luck Jon, Rico & Sammo for the remainder of the season...personally very happy with this sensible decision by the board...

Good to see they'll all still be here in some capacity, no matter what, too  Smiley

Would be good to hear a bit from JB about this guy, fitness wise etc. He obviously thinks he's worth punt.

Remember, we've still got head of recruitment Simon Tracey, under contract for another season...

So unless KC gets another job and wants to take him with him, we're stuck with him, unless we sack him!

So, any of the chosen few able to give an insight to the zoom meeting with the club this evening, regarding season ticket refunds? Or have you all been swarn to secrecy?
169  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Plymouth at home Tuesday 02.03.21 on: March 02, 2021, 23:01:57 pm
Great solid professional team performance...

We cut out the silly mistakes & were worthy winners...

Fair play to Mitchell for two decent saves which will hopefully give him some confidence...

Even though he hasn't scored, I quite like Edmundson

Still think Hoskins a weak link

Really happy for Brady & co. Well done & looking forward to Pompey
170  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: The 'Clare Balding' POTS: Plymouth Argyle (h) 02/03/2021 on: March 02, 2021, 22:43:17 pm
Superb all round team performance but Watson for me
171  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: New Manager on: March 02, 2021, 18:27:04 pm
And there we are it’s announced, Alex Jones

Have you heard anything whatsoever regarding the managerial situation ntfclad?
172  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Relegation Watch 20/21 on: March 02, 2021, 15:36:36 pm
Why, what makes you so special?

It's called respecting the lifeblood of the club ie the supporters  Roll Eyes

Where have I said anything about me being special? Just want answers like most supporters, but if your happy with no update from KT since sacking KC, then that's your prerogative...others ain't so tolerant
173  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Relegation Watch 20/21 on: March 02, 2021, 14:30:28 pm
Maybe he does, but hasn't made a decision yet?

No excuse, update the supporters stating as much. Silence is deafening!
174  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Relegation Watch 20/21 on: March 02, 2021, 13:00:13 pm
I doubt that if we win JB will be given the job after all that would be be 1 win in 6 games and still only 5 points, not exactly a convincing arguement for him getting it even if we wanted him to. I would imagine if KT is considering him he would give it more time.

KT does not give a toss, if he did then some sort of statement regarding the managerial situation would have happened by now...

Other than Brady, who else is going to come in now anyway, only to guarantee a relegation on their CV?

Groundwork should have been done prior to sacking KC, not just letting it continue hoping Brady could sort this mess of a squad out that KC created...

Some good points made re lack of engagement from/with the Trust, I guess that's one of the reasons why I thought i'd get more involved. They know they have to get more people involved, or at least make people more aware of their existence!
Reference Life Members, I believe over 500 of that 700 odd are life members, there's very little take up on the yearly/five yearly option, new member numbers in last year were in the 'teens.

As has been said, perhaps there may be a new perspective, again if I can do anything to influence/change that then its all good. I'll certainly report back on here about any (non sensitive) snippets!!

This week (as already said) there is a Zoom meeting between Trust board and Club board, also on Wednesday there is an NTFC Group call to discuss "season ticket policy"......that particular subject was raised by one poster above, and if there has been no movement on the managerial front by Thursday then i'm sure it can be a topic of conversation on that call!  Wink

Cheers for some clarity GPC, let's hope for a productive week on & off the field!

If anyone does have an interest in the politics of the club, and wants to gain a greater understanding of whats going on and be in a position to have a say should it all go pear shaped in the near future then i'm asking you to please join the Trust. They are the supporters group and quite possibly are the only ones who have a voice when it comes to the club hierarchy. I was most surprised to find out that the Trust only has 732 members. Surely there are more supporters of the club who have an interest and want to play a part, no matter how small?

I myself was voted on to the Board of the Trust at the AGM this week, I want to get involved, I want to understand more of what the actual **ck is going on with our club. There is a Zoom meeting between Trust board and NTFC board this week, so they do have a voice, no matter how small some people think it is.

Party political broadcast over.....back to the bitching!!

Can you please ask the ntfc board to show a modicum of respect to supporters by making an official statement regarding the managerial situation at the club, along with details of the mooted season ticket loyalty reward to entice supporters to renew again in L2 next season. A mention of thanks in the match day programme won't suffice!

I'm a lifetime trust member btw and wish you the best on the trust board
177  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: New Manager on: February 27, 2021, 22:28:24 pm
No Sing, I want rid of the on loan players because I want the whole squad to “own” their performances this year. I want everybody to feel as gutted and sh*t as I do. I don’t want anyone skipping off back to their host club in May with a spring in their step!

Don't disagree but...

You send back the loan players....you still have to pay them a la Joe Nuttall!

We can't recall Smith as he agreed a loan til the end of the season with Motherwell

I'd deffo stick the youth team keeper in for the rest of the season as Mitchell is woeful & Arnold injury prone and not much better...

Also need to be starting Chuks and Dyche and any other decent youth teamers imo to see if they can cut it. Great experience for them all too, with no pressure or crowds.

Let's start building an identy for the future now...
178  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Relegation Watch 20/21 on: February 27, 2021, 20:28:50 pm
Pointless thread now...We're done!

4 teams go down & we're certainly one of the worst 4 teams & will probably finish rock bottom well adrift...

Sad times but at least we don't have to watch it in the flesh
179  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: New Manager on: February 27, 2021, 20:19:18 pm
No idea what the answer is...

Just read the Bristol Rovers forum to see what they thought of the shambolic Tisdale reign...

Also, what manager is going to want to come here in our current perilous position, knowing full well they're going to have a guaranteed relegation on their CV?

What a mess!

180  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: THOMAS YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED on: February 27, 2021, 20:03:42 pm

Yes, as I said, nothing since that initial update after sacking KC!

People slag off the boro chaiman, but at least he keeps the lifeblood of the club updated constantly...
