You have been quiet today

There you go again, upping your post count with nothing to say, trying to goad fellow supporters into meaningless debates with you just to refer back to them at a later date...absolutely pathetic behaviour!

Most people have lives outside of this messageboard & occasionally pop on here to post emotive in the moment comments which they should be entitled to do without constant ridicule from you.

After this post, I've absolute no intention of responding to any of your posts or replies to mine, as you've ruined this board for many decent fellow posters over the years.

Life is far to short & precious to waste time engaging with you.

If we win today, we go up to 18th!

Get into em...!
204  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: New Manager on: February 12, 2021, 20:22:07 pm
Might be worth keeping tabs on this thread re Matt Gray...

Personally, really looking forward to seeing how Brady sets the team up along with any improvement in style of play (won't be difficult). If he does well over the next 3/4 games (not necessarily results wise but just a noticeable improvement) then I'd be more than happy for him to get the gig (if he wants it if course!)
205  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: The Brady Bunch V Burton Albion Saturday 13th Feb on: February 12, 2021, 11:42:08 am
Caretaker manager Jon Brady says he is not looking ahead any further than Saturday’s game with Burton Albion.

“It’s been a whirlwind couple of days but my only focus right now is on trying to get results to help the club move up the league.

“Sammo has a vast amount of experience as does Marc Richards, and they both know the football club. I’m really happy and comfortable to have them around me and I know they will both push me as well.

“Saturday is a big game in terms of we know that a win could potentially see us pop out of the bottom four but I don’t want to put too much pressure on one game.

“In terms of the team we will put round pegs in round holes and we will pick what we believe are the best players to try and win us the game.

“The players we pick will have the freedom to go out and express themselves. We want them to get forward and they also have to have the attitude and belief that they will get on the end of things.

“I’ve seen that in training but we have to take it into Saturday now.”

How refreshing, finally the end of Hoskins at wing back!  Grin

Next Bristol Rovers manager: Former England defender and Northampton Town boss wants job

Former Bristol Rovers and Bristol City defender Keith Curle is eager to immediately return to management and is interested in the vacancy at the Mem

Bristol-born Keith Curle is interested in the managerial vacancy at Bristol Rovers following Paul Tisdale's exit.

Bristol Live understands Curle, who started his playing career at the Gas, is eager to immediately return to work after his two-and-a-half-year stint at Northampton Town ended on Wednesday.

The Cobblers parted company with Curle within minutes of Tisdale’s sacking at Rovers yesterday, and the 57-year-old is keen to be back in the dugout as soon as possible.

Curle fancies a return to the city of his birth to take charge of the Gas as they vie to arrest a 10-game winless run and avoid relegation from League One.

Curle has amassed a managerial career of more than 500 games, having taken charge of Mansfield Town, Torquay United, Notts County and Carlisle United before taking the job at Sixfields.

The three-cap England international steered the Cobblers to promotion via the League Two play-off final in June with a 4-0 win over Exeter City but was relieved of his duties this week with the club, alongside Rovers, locked in a relegation battle.

Curle started his playing career with Rovers in the early 1980s before joining the likes of Manchester City and Wolverhampton Wanderers. He also had playing stints with Bristol City and Wimbledon before moving into management in 2002.

He also spent time on Neil Warnock’s coaching staff at Queens Park Rangers and Crystal Palace, winning promotion to the Premier League with QPR and reaching the Championship play-offs at Selhurst Park.

I didn’t know that Pablo had left - seems a shame as it sounds like he was very popular and good at his job. Do we know what the new situation is?

Pablo tweeted it sometime last a job at an unnamed champ club....fair play to him

Also club tweeted it too...

Thank you and good luck to Fitness Coach Pablo Garcia who is moving to take on a similar role at a Championship club. Good luck too to Ashlee Adebayo who is moving up from @NTFC_Academy  to take over Pablo’s duties with the first team squad.

Ricky is now training with Southend & Pablo who resolved his back issues has now left the club...let's move on eh?
211  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: New Manager on: February 10, 2021, 17:42:00 pm
With finances tight, if Brady gets us actually playing front foot football, creating chances & scoring some goals, then why not him.....obviously if he wants it of course.

Looking forward to a new beginning...ready to renew my season ticket no matter what division we end up in  Grin
212  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: What happens nex on: February 10, 2021, 14:25:09 pm
Must admit I recognised your style. You certainly know how to hide behind a few words.  Bored with your name so you change what next will you come up with.

Ah there it is, again with no tangible context. Still, ups your post count so you'll be appy'!
213  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: What happens nex on: February 10, 2021, 12:33:10 pm
It’s nothing to do with blind loyalty but the desire to support your local club. It is these type of supporters who are the mainstay of the clubs support. Mos t do not insist on goals and attacking football as a prerequisite but in the hope of it. Judging by your comments since joining appear very self centred as if you must be entertained at all costs. You either need to grasp some realism of the Club you appear to support? Otherwise you may face eternal disappointment. You could go and support MK

I've been posting on this board since it's inception, (even won the grand national sweepstake once!)

I (like several others) just occasionally get bored with my username & therefore have to set up another profile as can't change username on the site (tried many times to no avail)

I'm not precious about having the most number of posts like some or reacting to every post to get my number of posts up without having anything tangible to say, i'll leave that to others!

Also, I don't feel the need to look at when posters joined/what they previously posted as this is an emotive forum when opinions are allowed to change and should not be thrown back at any poster. We are all supporters of NTFC afterall.

I can see why you've been reported to the mods on several occasions. Certainly would not want to stand/sit anywhere near you at a match.
214  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: What happens next on: February 10, 2021, 11:23:21 am
I will not be renewing if Keith is in charge.

Same, worst anti-football i've seen us play (and we've watched some shi#e!)

Been a season ticket holder since we moved into Sixfields & never thought i'd not renew because of a manager, but KC has broken me.

I don't expect us to win every week but I do expect to try to win, have plenty of shots & play some actual football.

With the world of Covid we now live in, you look at the bigger picture, rather than the previous blind loyalty stance of I'm renewing no matter what

I want to renew but I won't tolerate being served up the current dross & excuses time after time.

Most football fans aren't idiots & the club will soon realise this with the lack of season ticket renewals if KC is still at the helm
215  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: CURLE OUT. on: February 10, 2021, 09:00:17 am
Was hoping to wake up to the news KC had been "relieved of his duties"

Needs to happen today or KT needs to come out with a statement saying why he's still backing him & how he feels about losing hundreds of season tickets by doing so!

Honestly can accept relegation if we play some actual football and have a go each and every game.

We have absolutely no gameplan, nevermind a plan B. Pure hoof tactics just waiting to see where the ball drops..front foot football my arris'
I honestly think we have some decent players in our squad, it's just that they're not being allowed to play any sort of football!

KC is completely out of his depth, takes NO responsibility for his woeful tactics and needs to go today...

Luke Graham.

Totally agree, such a refreshing change from Philips or Walton
217  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: New Year 2021 Transfer Window on: February 05, 2021, 21:07:00 pm

If you don't mind me saying Raggie you really seem to have it in for our beloved Keith Grin - you must have a reason ?

It's a forum, all opinions welcome for all supporters, from happy clappers to realists who are sick of the bizzare tactical decisions & utter dross which has been regularly served up under KC.

Find it extremely tiresome, the way you constantly dig people out or continually make snide comments, if it's not an opinion you agree with.
218  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: New Year 2021 Transfer Window on: February 05, 2021, 20:33:42 pm
Thought he was on a player- coach deal Grin

He is, so perhaps he's the cheap option to take the reigns, when KC eventually goes!

Burton , Wigan  and AFC Grin - are you serious  Cool

If the Cowley brothers take over AFC then they won't be below us for long...would love them here!
220  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Relegation Watch 20/21 on: February 05, 2021, 14:00:41 pm
Even if Swindon do go pop, still need another 3 teams to be shi##er than we are...
