I'm watching this with the Blackpool commentary and they reckon Sixfields is like a graveyard.
Glen Little certainly isn’t very complimentary of us that’s for sure!

I'll never understand the trend for expecting League One keepers to be able to take a touch and pick out a pass and chastising them if they just get it clear. Charlton gifted us a point and we very nearly gifted Blackpool the lead then.
It’s happened twice already this game.

Moulden is terrible.
So uncomfortable with his feet and stays on this line when the balls flying back and forth in his 6 yard box.
How did Rochdale rate him?

Not linked to Tuesdays performance, but of our group of 9 who attended, only 1 is going tomorrow.
Hopefully a better time in Cambridgeshire for those who do travel tomorrow 👍🏽
Neverbrite will be questioning your loyalty in a public forum very shortly...

That was explained on here that Hoskins was played as an attacker! As OAP suggests best not to play Brough other than an orthodox left full back where he has to make the attempt to mark the winger!
So was Pinnock but he still busted a gut to get back every time there was an attached down his side. I counted umpteen clearances from him in our own box right up till the end of the game. Whereas Hoskins simply gave up time and time again. Appreciate he's just returning to fitness, but him in front of Brough was nothing short of a disaster.

Burge
Sherring. Guthrie. Moore. Monthe.
Bowie. McWilliams. Sowerby. Pinnock.
Leonard.
Simpson.
4 centre backs, an injured keeper and 2 CMs that were so bad they got subbed at half time on Tuesday. Must be a wind up.

Brady will know that teams are targeting Brough at the minute. Boro were not the first to do so. So its a double edged sword. He's getting more attention, and therefore struggling further. I don't think we've got an answer to it, other than perhaps try and keep the ball as much over the other side of the pitch as we can. At least then they will have to play a couple of passes before the ball goes near him! In all seriousness though, perhaps screening him with McWilliams (eg) might help. We've got to stop the supply chain to opponents right hand side. I felt sorry for him last night, they were doubling up on him. He didn't stand much of a chance... The issue he had last night was that Hoskins was providing no cover. For two of their goals Hoskins man simply ran past him.

1) Brough who is a defender, can’t defend at all. Absolutely torched last night. 2) Hondermarck at right back was embarrassing. Not entirely his fault. 3) Hoskins wasn’t even remotely close to being fit. The decision to start him was a shocker. Same can be applied to Sowerby and McWilliams. 4) What was with the playing out of back when we continually were giving it away or having the ball cold off us in our half? 5) Why were we afraid to put a single tackle in all game? 6) The road works on the way back added to a great evening. 7) Our fans were excellent despite that performance. Thank the lord we got one over them in August. 9) Few beers with a good group of lads was the highlight. 10) That must have been their best performance of the season, and if they were to go up, I’d probably cope 😂 we are nowhere near their level at present. 11) Put some tackles in or you get battered. The squad and staff know that yesterday wasn’t acceptable and have to start the next game with a fit 11, who are hungry to make it up to the fan base. 11 very good points. In hindsight, we had 40% of a starting 11 that were nowhere near match fitness. How this was overlooked is unforgivable.

We have usually bounced back from a heavy defeat with a good performance and now we have to do it again. It may depend on how much it took out of the players chasing the ball last night and Cambridge having a free week, they also have a new manager to impress. Having collected another yellow card last night if Bowie gets another in this game he will be suspended for 2 games so he needs to tread carefully but after this game he will be clear, I wonder if JB will be ultra cautious and leave him on the bench.
A 2 game break to go up north to see his family must sound pretty tempting to him I must admit.

Having slept on it and given it a lot of thought (mostly while laying awake in the middle of the night) and god we were shìt.
We have 6 full backs at the club and 5 of them are out injured, as is one of the centre backs that have been covering that role. The other is Brough who can have good games but only when allowed to get forward; the rest of the time he's defensively rubbish.
Hondermarck or Brough were at least culpable in all the goals and Brough in most of them. They targeted him and he had no answer.
So there is some mitigation for Brady in this as he had limited options, however you can't deny he got things wrong elsewhere.
I'm a massive advocate of Hoskins and always have been, so I've been delighted to see him prove a lot of people wrong in the last few seasons, but he was either rushed back or rushed himself back to play in the Derby game and was so far off the pace it was embarrassing. How he stayed on beyond half time is beyond me.
The half time subs didn't work either, although at least Simpson and Springett looked lively when they got on, but by then the game was long since gone.
It's important not to get too carried away of course as we're still having a good season and punching well above our weight, but it always stings to lose to your big local rival, and that's doubly so when it comes at the end of a complete capitulation as it did last night. Heads went down when they equalised and then we caved completely 90 seconds later.
My prematch prediction was that we'd take an early lead and then lose to late goals after hanging on for must of the game. I got the first bit right but clearly overestimated the character of the side.
But let’s not forget, as Ben Arthur informed, Tim O thought Hondermarck was doing well at right back.

Time to bounce back!
A massive game for the Us as they look to avoid the drop.
Selection headaches all over the park for JB.
Should be plenty of spare seats in the away end following the shambolic showing tonight.
I’m going fairly positive, 2-2. Brough with a last minute leveller.

I've said it time and time again. Brough is an average League 2 player. So so so exposed defensively. Moulden is also not up to it. Don't really know where it went wrong for him just looked scared and not brave enough
I think the same could be said for all of them tonight.
