We can’t be any worse off than average for injuries…it’s no excuse.
Dav speaks sense. We aren't hit with injuries' to a particular part of the squad. Injuries are well spread with only 1/2 nailed on starters. It shouldn't be an excuse. GK CF ATTACKER MID / ATTACKER CM RB / CB LB

Somebody recently posted that the injuries are not the cause of our current poor form because only 1 of them would be in the starting 11 which is obviously wrong. Burge was our regular 'keeper, McGowan our first choice right back, Fox was in his best form since joining and Bowie would be starting.
Burge agreed. McGowan isn't injured. Fox has been in and out of the side. He's played more recently due to McWilliams' injury. I wouldn't class him as first choice CM in completion with McWilliams, Sowerby, Lenard and Hondermarck. Who would you and Jon have Bowie starting instead of, Hoskins, Appere or Pinnock? I can't see any being dropped. Or would you have him sitting in the position you've just allocated to Fox? Sounds like there's a potential case that 2 of the first choice 11 are out. I'm not convinced though.

Finally some common sense. No doubt some of here will be shocked to hear that other squads have injuries as well. Reading some of the posts I thought it was only us! Maybe Clough is telling some white lies to rub the salt in the Cobblers wounds?

Coolcat - if you consider taking 9 points from his first 14 games as a success in his first 3 months so be it but he was not getting a tune out of the squad he took over. If he took them out of the relegation places it was only because he took into them as they were 21st when he joined and 19th when he left. Moving 2 places up the league table in almost 5 months does not make him a good manager as dropping 2 places does not make JB a bad manager. In this case the stats don't lie as they have 18 points from the last 10 games since signing a lot of players in the transfer window so the only conclusion that any rational person could make that it is the transfer window activity that has made all of the difference.
But did they have any injuries? And have they had any of the handful of refs which have cost us points over recent weeks?

Probably not as what he's said is pretty accurate.
Whereas as usual, you say nothing. So not sure what good thing you'd make.
Crazy to think none of the other sides have had injuries ey!? We’ve been so unlucky to have them. Hopefully we don’t have injuries next season.

So basically 1 guaranteed starter remains out injured but could be back for the weekend. 6 squad players remain injured. 2/3 of which would unlikely be in the matchday squad. I can’t see the crisis in all honesty.

There's always my particular favourite... 🎶Jon Brady, Jon Brady, Jon Brady, he's taking us to Barrow to Barrow...🎶 The original so cringe, anyone who sings it, deserves the above!
🎶Jon Brady, Jon Brady, Jon Brady, he's taking us to Wrexham to Wrexham...🎶

Did his best to keep us up in league 1 with Curle’s stooges . Lost out on automatics last season to the biggest fraudulent scam in the EFl in decades that went unpunished . Have been in the automatic positions for most of this season until the injuries really took hold . Will probably be at the club for some years to come unless a lucrative offer comes in .
20/21 - Curles fault (despite leaving us out of the relegation zone. 21/22 - Sc***horpe’s fault 22/23 - The injuries fault. I like your style. You’d make a good politician!

I think he's going to be safe this season whatever happens. However a bad start to next season and he'll be gone by Christmas.
He’s taken us from 19th in L1 to 5th in L2. I think we’re safe for another year or so before he drags us into a relegation battle.

Yes never going to challenge Ipswich Derby Charlton etc, but more than capable of going toe to toe with the rest, something our club has been deprived of due go greedy owners that have no regards for our clubs growth.
Wycombe are a club I find interesting. How do they manage to complete at the top of L1?

After that today, yes he's out of his depth. Got to question his signings in January, he doesn't play them and leaves them on the bench, these are players he's been "following" yet he won't play them. At the moment he's looking pretty clueless. Long term it's doubtful we will make the playoffs. Bad move giving him and some of the players new contracts.
Agreed. It certainly is a concern. Players that have been tracked for years not given any minutes.

Still a pr ick. Until you have something insightful or constructive to add, why not just can it? You bring nothing to this forum except annoyance. But then maybe that's your aim because you are certainly no supporter of NTFC
Blimey, if only our manager and players showed as much passion.

Well, where to start with that one!?
At least we’re playing the most entertaining football in years…
Pleased to have the core of the squad signed up for another couple of seasons.

80 mins of last nights “game” was tippy tippy 5 to 6 lateral passes across the back followed by a hoof into the channels. It’s fcuking boring pointless L2 fare. Fans pay their money and can boo as much as they like.
This is true, something I’ve been saying for a while. Brady seems to think possession based passing football is entertaining, which it is played in the right way. Stats wise every game we look good, a shed load more passes and possession than the opposition. Looking beyond the stats and it’s all sideways and backwards passes which ultimately lead to a punt down field. We don’t have the ability to penetrate the opposition. We’ve been found out, the opposition just sit back knowing that we very rarely find a killer pass.
