Another great win for a depleted squad ! Note the attendance of 8,661. What a shame we can't accommodate similar sized crowds... it will definitely restrict the clubs progress in the long run.
Couldn't agree more, but we don't sell out now etc, etc. But anyway, fantastic win tonight and a great turnout despite the Stevenage debacle. Great performances all round and maybe could have scored a couple more if we'd chosen the better option a couple of times. More of the same on Monday hopefully. Special mention for Lincolns "Fan Zone". Why can't we do something like that? It's been talked about long enough.

Same here.
He's allegedly a celebrity but like most of them a bit of a twat and would do anything to "enhance their profile". I mean, imagine Noel Fielding, Matt Lucas, Joe Brand, etc, etc, doing anything like that.

As I was around in the 1930's I couldn't comment on the amount of running players did, though I doubt they just wandered about. What I will say is that a fit man in the prime of his life should be able to manage two games over a 4 day period. Also, playing is the culmination of the week, it's what they should live for. I'd never have wanted to be "rested" if I had been good enough to be in their shoes.
Blimey Marvo. Didn't realise you were so old.

Great, and thoroughly deserved result for the boys today - a young team really starting to click.
As I've said here before though, it is an enduring sadness that the clubs ambition will be forever gated by the paltry ground capacity.
Unless a way is found to increase seats and/or standing up to say 15,000, in the long run we will forever be a L1/L2 yoyo club at best - not really good enough for a town like Northampton.

Does anyone remember at Sixseats we were playing Cardiff City, at half time one of their knöbheads ran onto the pitch and began dancing around like a demented leprechaun, a few of our lads ran onto the pitch from the north, most were tackled by stewards but one got through and he and the sheep worrier met on the center circle, paused for a moment and then began trading punches, now that’s half time entertainment!
Yes. I mentioned it on here a while ago.

Every time i think of five games, i then think of another five. But mine are .....
1 Liverpool away 2 Bristol Rovers home (Play Offs) 3 Oxford home winning to stay up. 4[Crystal Palace home 1977 (gave their player loads of stick, after he said we were crap) 5 Coventry home in the FA Cup 1990
Peter Wall. One of my favourite games too. The others; Liverpool Shrews First Wembley Bristol Rovers home. Another great one was beating Preston 6-0 the year before the Carr promotion season.
