Haynes did get the run around at Chesterfield and hardly made a tackle, he was also targeted by his old Newport County boss when we went to Walsall. When we had to select him due to our injury crisis I feared the worst but credit to the lad because he proved to be very reliable.
Totally agree, Dobra and Mandeville pulled him from pillar to post at Chesterfield and I thought that would be the end of Haynes is career at the Cobblers. Despite his recovery at the end of the season, I just cant see him getting much game time with the quality of left backs ahead of him now. On Chesterfield though, I was surprised to see they have signed Tom Naylor and Will Grigg which seem very good signings for that level. They also have Michael Gyasi the "wonderkid" we sold to Chelsea when he was about 12 on their books.

A few I always remember but I doubt are on many people's list.
John Johnson rocket Infront of the north stand again Lincoln when we're were in a relegation battle.
Bauza late volley again Infront of the north stand against Torquay in a relegation battle.
Doumbe against Mansfield away, 30 yard lob. It was in the wrong bet but God was it a good finish.

It beggars belief that we signed him in the first place, surely we have a fitness test for this exact reason.
tbf there is no way Bayo passed a fitness test the first time we signed him. My mate watched him at Millwall a few weeks before and said he was the worst player he had ever seen.

He was widely regarded as the signing of the season. I lived with a group of lads who support Luton and all got in touch to tell me how amazing he would be in league two.
He is just one that hasn't worked out. Woudlnt be the first time a striker who looked good on paper didn't gel.

You just can't let go, can you?
I dont get the pile on, on MArvo. He made valid points about both players. His comments on Appere were based on stats others may not have been aware of. It was a valid comment and was not knocling Hoskins, merely giving more evidence for consideration.

Given Louis’s top spot in POTS table, that shows commendable foresight on your part.
Don't get me wrong I think he is a good and he has impressed me last season and the in the last 10-15 games. He just looked bereathed of confidence and like he couldnt drop a bag of cement earlier on in the campaign.

Then you need to pay more attention.
Appere has score 8 league goals. We've won 7 (drawn 1) and in all 7 of those games his goals were vital, in other words we wouldn't have won without them.
On the other hand our top scorer has 20, yet in only 4 matches has his goals been proven to be "Vital".
Sometimes quality is more important than quantity.
He has certainly been very influential in recent weeks but for the first half of the season he looked like a competition winner. At one point he had a clear cut pen ignored by the ref , I can only assume the ref thought he had just fallen over like all of his previous chances in the game. Most improved player for the season? , probably yes. Player of the season ? , I can't buy into that.

Looking at some of the chances we have created and missed in recent games, especially those in and around the 6 yard box from Appere and Yengi have missed. I think there is an opportunity for someone like Hylton to have an impact when he is fit.

I know most don't like any criticism in their direction but am I the only person who thinks Brady might be right about us fans?
Whilst there has been reasons to moan about the team over this last run of games, the atmosphere and attendances have never reflected our position and performances earlier in the season. It's almost like there is an apathy hanging over the fan base after what happened at the end of last season.
Whilst the team needs a rocket up their arse, Booing them off is only going to make things worse at this point.
Appere and Hoskins in particular our biggest goal threat and appear to be confidence players. Booing them is only going to make things worse.

Appere is clearly not a natural striker/centre forward - there’s a reason why Dundee United only played him as a winger/wide forward. It makes you wonder if the reason he came to us was that he saw himself more as a striker and we told him that’s where we would play him.
Whilst his work rate makes him effective, Some of his touches are mind boggling for a professional. There was one about 5-10 mins after half time on Saturday where he had 3 touches in space and then somehow dribbled into touch under little to no pressure. I suspect it may have been the straw that brtoke the camels back when subbing him off.

The Vaccine doesn't prevent transmission, and I doubt an elite level footballer is at much risk to covid19 tbh.
It looks like Pfizer have more questions to answer than any footballer now that they have admitted to exploring intentionally mutating the virus to manufacture vaccine demmand.

I have voted No for the time being but I would expect a full explanation of what has gone in and why this was done. I suspect I would probably end up being unhappy with the explanation though.
