I've got 5 mates coming down to Bristol for the weekend stopping at Chez Poggy.
For your sake, I trust that Chez Poggy, has more floor space than Betamax Towers.

Always been scorching sunshine when I've been! Have to say, Bristol comes top in favourite cities in the UK, London aside.
No recommendation on a pub stop? You surprise me!

Can I say that I hate this ground. Shoved up the corner in the open, and every time I go there, its cold and wet. Never found a decent pub stop on the way down, (open to suggestions), and the traffic on the way in and out, is worthy of a Saints management system. Still, I suppose its better to go in August, than a tuesday night in January.

Ok, that's an over exaggeration. My brother is a Cobblers supporter so it's not far fetched to surely believe that his boss knowing so, might impart some information on to him. As he's my brother he will obviously tell me. It's not like I had a friend who had a friend who knew someone Etc, etc... And yes this is my first post, I've been reading here for a few weeks now, and as I thought I had something worth sharing, I decided to post it on this forum. There's no conspiracy here... Believe me or not, I don't even know if this is true, but my brother wouldn't joke about the club, and I doubt his respectable boss would make up some story for a laugh Like I said earlier, we will have to just wait and see.
What a load of Bollox. How about your views on Jordanian gynaecologists, intentionally leaving mobile phones inside patients? After all, you`ve heard it from the mouths of "doctors and nurses themselves". http://www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/thread1067390/pg2

So someone signs up and says my mates dads bosses parrot said Cardozas a d1ck and most of you nod and smile. Yes yes very plausable.
Yet post something thats not negative about him and they'll question your whole life, ban you, lock the thread or go out of the way to ridicule them.
Real smart.
Did I touch a nerve?

His R&D flirtation had nothing to do with getting back at us, his factories were all based in the local area and he wanted to build a legacy for the community to enjoy. The land was there to be built on, ripe with potential as he saw at the time.
I always maintained that he built the ground in the wrong place. A better solution would have been, for instance, Wellingborough and Diamonds, in a town with some proper infrastructure, and some proper public transport links, instead of a ground in the @rse end of nowhere. Irthlingborough, (pop. 9000 ish) was never going to be able to support a football league team. It was a nice ground though, even if it did sound the death knell for two teams.

Uni-boy, hmmm. Ok . The mark of someone not quite telling the truth, is when they forget the last time they didnt quite tell the truth. Ok... I'm still at Uni actually, just I'm just working here now and have been for the past 9 years. But thanks for the interest.

This is just guess work but the company involved with the development of St Edmonds Hospital are mainly of Indian origin, as mentioned by DC that the possible buyers were interested in developing around the town and not just Sixfields so could that be the link? http://companycheck.co.uk/company/01261231If it is them I wouldn't be getting the party poppers out just yet as I don't think they are the billionaires most are hoping for Its already been mentioned mate. Bloke down the pub told me 100 per cent, that it was the same consortium, that was previously overseeing the redevelopment of St Edmunds Hospital. He had overdosed on the cider though...
