Even dims fans have been saying Howe is toilet.
Crowe could get a good deal at a L1 club, why would he come back here and play out his career in the mediocre end of L2 or worse?

I think I probably agree - but who else is there? I can't think of a single other potentially available target man.
Over to Sammo. Let's hope he gets it right. If he's still here!

In all seriousness guys, John Gayle is still up for the odd game. Surely worth a month to month contract to ease our target man woes?

Perhaps because he was happy here - played more games here than anywhere else - wants to be back closer to London - knows the next one is probably his last contract and wants to be playing some football - just perhaps...

How about Marcus Gayle - he's only 40.

Thats how me or you would see it , with professional footballers you never know. He could be holding out for a call from Pep or Jose

Were still on the first page of the 'winter rumour' thread and already some outrageous names have been put in the mix! Mark Bunn, Jason Crowe, Callum Davenport... We are s*** and skint, I can't see many players wanting to join us...

Sammo is saying that it will most likely be the French centre back (6ft4) and the a.n.other striker coming in Jan

Bauza has scored 1 goal this season. Please don't tell me he's the answer to our problems based on the fact he put in one skilful cross and looked decent against one of the worst NTFC performances in living memory.
... and yes he would likely be getting just as many chances at Hereford as NTFC.

There's a lad I've heard of before that Portsmouth released in the summer called Ryan Gazet Du Chattelier. He's 6 feet 4 inches and was a hot prospect a couple of years ago. He was on trial at a number of Championship clubs in the summer. Surely worth at least a trial?
And he's only 19!
Oh, and talking of strikers with the surname Gayle. Howard Gayle is 52. I'm sure he'd do a better job than our lot!

Bunny has had very successful loan spells at Leicester and Sheffield United. He's also ousted the other keepers at Blackburn to make the number 2 keeper spot his own! With regards to Davenport. According to some reports, it's highly unlikely that he'll be able to play professionally again due to the extent of his injuries.

Bauza's been out with a groin injury. He's scored goals in the Championship and had a great schooling playing alongside Torres. Bigger clubs are looking at him so your view is irrelevant really. Let' see if he stays with Hereford

Can we all stop knocking one off about Bauza ........ he did 1 trick and we think he is the answer, I bet you didnt think he was "amazing" at half time ........ Fleetwood from Hereford was the one that caught my eye in the Hereford game not Bauza

Please please please. It was Hereford who were terrible for 45 mins and then OK in the second half whilst we capitulated.

I thought the most impressive Hereford striker on that day was Manset, and he's closer to the sort of striker we need than Bauza or Fleetwood.
