Was told by a mkDons fan that things are not well over in Bletchley with 25 million bank loan, poor squad, gates plummeting, two million a year losses and future revenues from World cup venue now gone East. They're worried that the bank could call in the debt which would mean the great white incomplete elephant of ground would be knocked down, as it stands on very valuble land, ripe for future developments. So worried are they that contingency plans are in place if this doomsday senario was to befall the Franchised club, and Northampton's Sixfields Stadium would be thier choice of temporary home, according to this concerned mkDons fan. Not sure how bad things are over there, but 50k a year rent would come in handy.

Or just move back to South West London.......actually maybe not. In seriousness though this is no different a scenarion to a lot of teams in the League. If it comes to it they'll go in to Administration, survive and move on.

Plymouth are the next club who will set off up s*** creek without a paddle and there's a good chance we'll be playing them in this division next season.

They had a perfectly good Southern League club called Bletchley Town which the area refused to support, so they folded up. If MK Dons go tits-up (unlikely), let them stew in their own juices. Then, bulldoze the site and give the Football League place back to Wimbledon AFC.

This would be a dream come true, Winkleman financially ruined would be the icing on the cake. Surely we would not let these stealing bastards use our ground?
By the way, Milton Keynes is actually quite nice, it's just a pity we have this piss-stained, embarrasing excuse for a football team hanging round our necks.

while i agree most of what you say AFC Wimbledon have no more rights to an automatic FL Place than MK Dons they have to work for it just as MK should have been made to, allso Wolverton FC were a good non league side that MK refused to support so they went the same way as other non league clubs in that town

I can vouch for MK alongside Realale... it ain't no sh*thole.
Personally I'd love to see more backing go towards Newport Pagnell Town, which is basically in MK anyway. That team is on the up in the past season or so, having seen them in action last month and was quite impressed at their attacking abilities (and Daniel Nti turned out for them, the Cobblers trialist. Promising, quick but rough round the edges). They are probably only going to miss out on promotion from the UCL thanks to moneybags clubs Kings Lynn and St Neots.

That is exactly what should have happened Sid, Winkleman should have ploughed his money into Newport Pagnell Town and got them through the leagues but the impatient twat decided to steal another team that gave him an instant league place and his ugly childcatcher face all over the papers. He makes me sick! They even got yesterdays local rag to report England not winning the World Cup bid was ok as it gave Milton Keynes £1M of free advertising!

If this little scenario came to pass, would people want to allow MK to play at Sixfields (if we got the chance to rip them off for plenty of cash to reinvest in the playing staff) or would we rather turn them away in the hope they go bust? I'm really not sure. Would definitely divide the fans.

Newport Pagnell Town has always found improvement to come by & for many years various locals have put there hands in there pockets to keep things going & many noises have been made to richer businessmen & local celebs but it's never been forthcoming sad to say.
There were rumours had they started climbing the leagues the old MK Dons stadium would've been there new home but that is no longer an option as it's been demolished.
There is plenty of land on the Newport Pagnell Town football club site so maybe expansion could be done should more supporters pass through the gate on match days.

MK going bust ha ha ha !!!!
Banks could order a winding-up petition. If not, do MK owe VAT too? I read HMR&C want to make an example of a league club who fail to pay taxes that EVERY other business has to, to remain solvent. This is also why I champion DC keeping us in black and paying next seasons bills up front - even at cost of not getting into play-offs this season. Any of these clubs could have gone bust recently: Pompey, Luton, Bournemouth, Rotherham, Southend and now maybe Plymouth etc BUT all have too much history there and would be an unpopular choice for our Govt? BUT MK has no history, so could they be the choice for the example?- well we can but dream can't we? I know it's justa conspiracy theory but rather a nice thought. It would help NTFC if all clubs were all on a level playing field financially.
Shame about Wolverton - I recall a NTFC pre-season friendly there, I think it was my first glimpse of Marco Gabbiadini in claret.
