Really pushing the boat out (but there might be Ivan money): Jacques Maghoma, Jay Emmanuel-Thomas, Nicky Maynard...all available.

Can't see any of them going below league 1. JET and Maynard are championship quality really.

Just had a browse of this... http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/jumplist/endendevertraege/wettbewerb/GB4

The names that jumped out at me were....

Strikers:
Nardiello
Ryan Taylor
Barry Corr
Alessandra

Keeper:
Fon Williams

Random Pick:
Max Power (for shirt sales Smiley )

Ex-cobblers on the list:
Gutts
Bayo
Widdowson
Danny East

A 45 year old keeper... Barry Richardson? Surely not... Actually, even the thumbnail was in black and white...

I think this is really interesting, but I think it includes players whose contracts are coming to an end so may well be made new offers by their current clubs....?

Probably right but at least it shows who could feasibly be tempted and who wouldn't command a fee. I didn't bother looking at the League 1 players coming to an end as I'm just not that ambitious.... Wink

Based on his previous clubs and the fact Carlisle fans say he is on big money. I assume jet will go to a championship club, tears up league 1 but dosnt press enough for then apparently.

I would have to question why he has been released? my guess is one or two decent games in 34 Appearances and only 8 goals is the one.

Like several others on here I thought he was fantastic at Sixfields and suggested on the day that he is just the sort of player we need. But now I'm confused as his goal record isn't great (he offers more though like Rico in his first spell here), he has been released without an offer by Cambridge, and most importantly of all, the Cambridge fans don't seem to fussed about it. Anyone seen more of him? Did he just have a blinder that day, or is he just actually that under-rated like Boothy thought Platt used to be?

All likely to have been on decent money there. Could we afford them?

We'd do worse than resign Louis Moult...

Pretty much a goal every 2 games at conference, 22 and out of contract. Hard working player, 6 foot tall. Would compliment our current strikers nicely. Always thought he had good potential and would be hungry and have a point to prove.

Worth a small fee assuming Wrexham have offered him new terms..

They won't be on any money because they are being released. It's irrelevant what they were being paid. The only things that matter are what clubs are now willing to pay, and whether we wish to compete for them.
