Random question and one for the geeks out there...

Sabin, Cozic, Oné and now Laurent... any other French player during our history?

Good signing this, looking forward to seeing the guy next weekend. Welcome.

PS: Well it's not a rumour anymore, surely his arrival deserves a thread of its own?

Debatable (or not as the case may prove) given the coverage it gets on at least 2 other threads

I was thinking the same John. Too scared to start a thread though. I'm what Giles Coke would call a "pussy"! Haha

Welcome Francis.

I'm very excited by this signing. Shame he wont be with us in time for tomorrow though. We need that right wing lighting up

The club needs congratulating at getting stuck in to this transfer window, although I still think they should have been doorstepping Harrad in any way possible with any inducement possible so he could see how much he is wanted. Anyway, maybe I'm wrong and that has already been done.

Perhaps DC should bring Martin Wilkinson back to the club for this very specialist task. He can then start turning up in different countries again whilst players are away on their holidays! Aka Martin Smith.

I don't know why clubs dont take a look at more French lower divison/non league players because there is quality there.

Having seen some of it first hand, I can assure you that there is also a lot of s***.  If you don't like heads going down when the going gets tough, there is even more of it.

If it's anything like the German equivalent, I'd stick with the English.
