...we'll make the play-offs if we get harrad and that new zealand bloke who everyone is talking about. If only Jacobs would extend his deal...

If we sign Zola and keep him fit, get Mckenzie back and keep the majority of the squad fit.......Why not. If that happens then I still believe  Cool

Actually I think this division is so full of crap then yes, I do still believe, it's only 8 points.

Cardoza has put his faith in Sammo and been decisive in backing that faith up with dosh. Fair play to him. If we get to the end of the season and we're still where we are now and not knocking on the door of the play-offs, I hope/expect Cardoza to be just as decisive then. Sammo can't say he hasn't been given a fair crack of the whip.

The league table is full of lies. Wink At one point, it said there were 22 teams better than us, including Lincoln who are very poor and Stockport who are almost immeasurably s***- in fact, how the f*** are Stockport not in the bottom 2? They seem to concede 5+ goals every other week. Yet another example of the league table not painting the full picture. Bear in mind, we've played an awful lot of away games and missed a couple of home games hrough postponements, meaning we've got a backlog of home games coming up and our record at Sixfields this season is actually quite good, despite us having played a number of the better sides.

I totally agree with Marvo, failure to make the top 7 (to mount a serious challenge would be a start at the moment) should have Sammo under big pressure which will only intensify now he's been backed in the transfer market. I don't believe DC would sack him this summer though, unless we are even worse than we have been to date in the run in to the end.

I'm with Dust on this. A top 5 finish (if we get our men) should be a realistic aim

In all honesty I think we'll finish in the top half this season, with all the new additions, but will probably finish outside the playoffs and Sammo will get one last throw of the dice next season.

We'll finish with about 55 points which I reckon will leave us about 19th. Next season I think we'll finish on about 55 points we will leave us about 19th. The season after that...

We'd need to average two points a game between now and May- possible, but not probable.

Zola is probably going to sign. Harrad might sign but even if he doesn't, I bet we still go in for another striker. This lad from Braintree we're supposedly tracking sounds interesting.

I was being sarcastic. I don't think we're far from being a half decent side  Roll Eyes

This is now surely the bench mark for the rest of Sammo's season.....if the signings go ahead.

All aboard to what could be a fascinating end to the season.......or the end of......
