So, back to back wins? Same team? Any injured players returning? Will you be able to get a hot drink after less than half an hours queuing?

I seem to remember people criticising our friend Rob Page for not rotating the team with two games in four days or whatever (granted it was a losing team) I think a couple of changes to just keep it fresh but nothing major.

If Zak and Williams are fit, I would not be adverse to them starting in place of Nyatanga and M.Smith. Other than this, I don't think we should change.

Yeah 100% Zak should come in it fit, and also agree with you on Smith.

If fit I would bring Williams in for Rico - I thought smith grew into the game on Saturday and Swindon is one of his old teams.

Would like to see Keshi back up top as his runs in behind are a massive threat. Would be happy to then move Williams to the top of the diamond if hes fit.
Swindon are on a bit of a nightmare run and have a team full of young players (they have 7 loanees also) so I can see us out muscling them despite having less of the ball. Similar to the Chesterfield game basically.

Reading JED's interview on the offy site confirms that it will be as you were tomorrow night. Zak and revs are going to be back for Saturday and Williams has had an injection in his knee.

Zak is our best defender and has to play . Moloney has much better distribution than Eardley and should also play . Keshi is wasted playing behind the front two and I would drop Smith for Williams if fit . Obviously I would also not play Taylor as a holding player , but nothing will change there and we will for the umpteenth time this season get exposed there again .

Zakuani won't come straight back in, he's been injured for a month. I would also question you on the right back position. Eardley has excellent distribution, not so good with the surging runs though. Tough call but Eardley for me with Moloney still getting up to speed after injury, he's also been out for a while, longer than Zakuani.

I accept that moloney is a better attacking fullback which is what we need in this formation but at the same time eardley has been very good since he signed and would count himself as very unlucky if he was to lose his place. If he was a left back I think he'd have a very good shout of replacing buchs on his current form. Also on the issue of Zak and moloney not returning until they are match fit as suggested earlier in this thread, that's going to be a bit of an issue considering the rare reserve team matches we play.

Moloney is far far better than Eardley
Maybe at getting forward but nowhere near as good at defending than Eardley.

The RB situation is a headache I wish we had in holding role. Both good players but Moloney is the better for me. As for up too Williams behind Keshi and Rico all day long. No wonder Scunny fans want him.back. Hes a tidy player and will no doubt give Kesh balls to feed off.
As far as result goes.....if we win .....will be one foot in this division for next season. Will be a test of JEDs progress as his two wins have been against teams that are doomed.

Going forward yes, defensively no. When hes fit though I think Maloney will make a huge difference as he will provide some width that we are lacking with the diamond formation. He was very good at Gillingham earlier in the season so no doubt JED will have been impressed.

I reckon Eardley could do a decent job in the holding role.
