Any thoughts on Marcus Maddison from P*sh? Could be a good addition possibly. Also Ryan Bennett from Norwich?

John Ruddy sounds like the experienced goal keeper we need. Grin

Or Billy McKay is out of contract at Wigan
As much as I was completely gutted when he left, while the majority seemed more concerned with Harrad going (which just goes to show how abysmal judges of players some of our fans are) McKay needs service, he is definitely the fox in the box that some say we need, but offers little else. Unless JE has a monster summer in the transfer market, we really struggled to create chances and have little possession around the opposition box, so I would tend to go for a striker who has other abilities too such as pace or hold up play otherwise McKay could just end up as a passenger.

They'd both be great. They're also both way out of our price range.

Personally I quite enjoy the speculation most of it is so far removed from reality that its humorous. I mean Le Fondre for heavens sake ! One of the best rumours was that bloke who played for WBA, went to Rotherham and whose wife comes from Northampton.  As if.................

Ruben Lameiras released by Coventry, could be the attacking spark we need, starting or from the bench, would definitely add depth

Great list. Would love someone like Jay O'Shea being released from Chesterfield.

I like the sound of Bob Harris from Bristol Rovers. He's from Northampton so he's bound to sign. Oops, my mistake, that's Whispering Bob Harris I'm getting confused with!!!!

I'd employ someone to play good music in the dressing room. Modern footballers seem incapable. Pat Nevin was genuinely the last one.

My post suggested that people need to calm down.. Clearly lost on you. In addition to offering you that insight. I also think it's fair to tell you don't posses a goat. Or was that an attempt at a witticism?

Nicky Maynard would be nice if he still has the pace he once did.

Daniel Powell is a decent wide man at this level, always chips in with goals and is a physical presence with pace. Early doors but not too many scream out on that list so far.

Jay O'Shea - although he will be in demand and therefore we won't get him, raglan did well at oxford on loan and will likely go there and any of the mk dons would improve us.
