The amount of injuries we’re picking up is starting to get ridiculous - I get that he’s having to work them hard in training but I wonder how many of these are down to fatigue.

According to JFH the team have done very little training because it's been Saturday-Tuesday-Saturday matches ever since he arrived. He has said this openly and its one of his frustrations because he would like more time on the training field. The fatigue is due to accumulation of games and probably also that JFH's system requires players to be fitter as they have to run around more.

And that's any different to any other team in the division??

Mainly positive injury news from today:
- Shaun McWilliams and Sam Hoskins are now "fully fit" and available for selection
- Chris Long is "back running" and is "touch and go" for Saturday's game
- John Joe O'Toole is back in full training but won't be ready for Saturday

However Moloney is not training and not available for selection

Does that mean that save for O'Toole, Moloney & Long everyone is fully fit for Saturday?

(Obviously Revell is suspended).

Aaron Phillips in still injured, but that is more long term.

Maybe fully fit aren't the words I would use. Certainly Hoskins, Foley, McGugan and McWilliams (to a lesser extent) can't be classed as fully fit, but yes, certainly available for selection.

Great news on all but Moloney.

"We think he might be okay for Saturday" the words of JFH on the Chron report.

He didn't train Monday, as is going for a scan. They are unsure what the injury is although they don't think it's a tear.

Fingers crossed.

I don’t believe for a moment the management are hiding non selection behind injuries.
JFH would want every player available for selection .

Chris Long does have a slight problem with his hamstring (since the Charlton game). However, it hasn't been enough to keep him out of games but does not allow him to be totally free in his movements. Therefore, JFH took the decision to get him right before he returns this time (hopefully), this involved some treatment to his back to try and free up his hamstring.

Moloney and Mcgugan available for selection.

The squad is starting to look healthy again.

Crooks is also back in training.

Phillips back doing some light running.

Barnett has protective boot off next week.

Lobjoit and Coddington back from loan.

Iaciofano no news yet.

Goff extended loan to 8th Jan 2018.

I think that rounds it all up!

I think Raheem Hanley also has an injury, not sure what it is and how long it will keep him out though.

Thought I'd update this as a lot of people are back/injuries have changed (as per tweet from NTFC today):

Long Term:

Phillips (Close to fitness)
Barnett (Back In Training)

Short Term:
JJ (Hopefully fit for Saturday)
Hoskins (Late Decision - Touch and Go)
Revs (Groin Strain picked up in training)
