JFH has confirmed tonight that Sam Hoskins is back in training. JJOT and Daniel Powell may join in training later in the week. Aaron Pierre back training Wednesday, Aaron Phillips also back with the main group.

That leaves only Alex Revell who had a groin operation 2 weeks ago and is still a further 10 days away from a return.

Thats a real shame, I felt him and Taylor were just starting to get used to each other.

I can tell you ,Aaron Pierre was not due to play against Blackburn because of injury .
It must have been a very late call to play him and risk the injury .
He obviously pulled up early in the game and is now out for three months .
It seems the gamble seriously back fired .

Announcing this and Phillips the day after we confirm the physio is leaving us. Coincidence?

It doesn't sound like he has any intention of playing Facey in the middle, and it would also appear to provide a reason for not adding/changing our strikers.

Correct. And left the physio where he is.

The managing of Moloney and O'Toole in recent years have been shambolic.

Van Veen back in training and 'touch and go' to be fit for Rovers on Saturday. With the squad well rested from the abandoned Blackpool match, hopefully we don't have a need to throw a half fit Van Veen up top.

Facey also looks to be fully fit now. Have we lost a game he's played in?

Not sure about that - would have thought that the treatment of Moloney has been ok?  As for JJOT perhaps he has been overplayed but always got the impression that JFH has managed him ok with frequent substitutions. Just a different point of view; no pack drill!

As I feared it looks like the van veen situation is going to be like the Powell saga from earlier this season - rated as touch and go for every match but not being fit. Until van veen is back we won’t be seeing anything of Poole as Mathis will have to be in the match day squad to cover Long.

I was referring to when they misdiagnosed Moloney, and deemed the rest of the summer period to be sufficient. Only to injure himself in his first preseason game vs Sileby and needing an operation, thus missing preseason and the start of our 2016/17 campaign. Shambolic.

Now I see why shambolic is mentioned.
