Shaun Harrad is f*cking s***e.  6 goals and he only gets one? And he calls himself a striker?  Awful.

Sammo out.

An excellent win against a very good side. However, the real test comes on Saturday when we play a team who will have a totally different approach to the game.

Bit disappointed we didn't wipe out our goal difference deficit in one go tonight but I guess I can wait until Saturday.

I lost £3 on 3 different bets tonight. 1 because we didnt win 3-0. 1 due to Harrad not scoring first and finally the last £1 was lost on Harrad not getting a hat trick!  Angry Tongue

John Johnson had another shaky game at times. Poor distribution and positional play during the fist half. Dunn made a mistake for the opener. Other than that, I'm bloody delighted  Smiley

Oh and I didn't think much of Sammo's substitution when he brought Wedderburn on for Holt. Smacks a bit as if he was compensating the big midfielder for just missing out. Surely Laurent should have got another much needed 30 minutes?

I have to cite the Holt substitution.....Wedderburn on against a slick passing and very mobile side...not a good move.

I had to put up with a bunch of little chavs sitting next to me, who insisted on banging their seats up and down while singing dross about the IRA and none of them where old enough to understand what it meant. And you all thought that you had problems?  AND one of them was ginger.  I rest my case.

I'm surprised you are still able to post. I would hav thought you would have been in a prison cell after ridding the World of a gingist. Mind you it is normally only a token 24 hours sentence.

Most enjoyable night at Sixfields for a long time. The only thing nagging away at the back of my mind, many years ago on a glorious Sunday lunchtime, we stuck seven past Bristol City, with them only managing a solitary reply. We all left the game elated, and convinced that we were about to kick on and have a decent season (for a change). On the Tuesday night, we travelled up to Sc***horpe (I think?) and shipped five.
Really, really can't see us slipping up like that against Barnet, but those memories do still haunt me. Guess that's just the joys, and oh so many lows, of being a long time Cobblers fan
