If we are all honest, there isn't a player of the year this year.
JI is the only one who has had a decent season(elsewhere)
I think it would send out a clear message if the fans made him player of the year.
I wonder how much tickets will be for this seasons end of season awards night?
Should be fun

The sad reality is there are only a handful of players I would be sad to see go - Taylor isn't one of them.

We have to keep JJ and Mcwilliams, to lose either of them will make this relegation even more unbearable than it already is.

We should follow the lead of MK Dons on this one. They are not going to award anyone in their 1st team. Instead, they are going to acknowledge their academy staff and players. If we've got any sense, we should cancel the awards celebration which is put on as a means to generate additional funds. This would show the club has some integrity.

KT has confirmed today that the under-contract players have clauses in their deals which see them reduce to protect the club in the event of relegation.

Very reassuring and positive.

Take a deep breath and relax.

There'll be comings - there'll be goings.

Personally, I love close season, love the daft rumours, love the anticipation.

If nothing else, it's clearer than ever we need a lot of change so hang on to your hats folks....

Why do people want these tossers to stay? The fact they had a half hearted attempt over the past couple of matches shows what tw@ts they are.

With you on this - frankly I don’t care if the majority go - as a team (including managers who have already gone) this collection conceded more goals then anyone else and treated us to some of the most gutless performances I have seen in 40 years - sure there are a few I would prefer to stay but c’est la vie if the don’t - root and branch clear out required on the playing front

I think the last few games has proved beyond doubt that JFH's management and tactics were the biggest reason for the apparently "gutless" performances, as many of the same players have looked far better under DA. Therefore it's not a question of getting rid of loads of players because they were poor most of the season. DA looks like he can get a lot more out of some of them.

I'd like to keep the following, though inevitably some of them will go:

JJOT
ROD
Taylor
Facey
Pierre
Crooks
Powell
McWilliams
Buchs
Hoskins
Waters

If we can keep 6 or 7 of these I think we have the makings of a competitive squad for next season, but we must sign a striker or two.
