The logical part of my brain says that there’s no way we’d be stupid enough to let our captain and best centre back in the league go in the January window when we’re in the middle of a promotion push but then the nagging feeling at the back of mind reminds me that we are the cobblers and that is what we do. Why would Buchs tweet about it if there wasn’t legs to it - he must still have loads of contacts at the club, unless he’s being vindictive?

Luton signed Carter-Vickers on loan from Spurs, it was that signing that has allowed Jones to be touted for a loan move.
Why having made a 1 in 1 out statement would they (Luton) then need to go after a permanent signing at CB?

Nah, players dont often move 6 months after tranferring in unless theyre not wanted. He'll be moving up the leagues some time in the future though.
