As always votes in after the match and before Thursday @2359

Carlisle

In my view, the game was lackluster, with the second goal being one of the few highlights - an exceptional moment of offensive play that awarded KOIKI his first POTS points of the season. Bowie and Guthrie solidified their second and third places by earning an additional point, but as determined last week, no one can overtake Marc Leonard for Player of The Season.

Summary

Koiki received 12 votes and scores 3 points
Fox, Bowie & Guthrie all receive 1 vote and score 1 point each

I’ll be the negative Nelly to get us started.
I thought hard about Bowie - his “offside” goal was a beaut but, it didn’t count and although he did his usual tireless running he also gave away the ball a lot and seemed (like all the midfield) ineffective and neutered.
So, reluctantly I have to go for Ms Balding!

Likewise, on Grand National day, Claire Balding...

Wouldn't dream of voting for Ms Balding - Bowie I thought tried all game and had a few good moments and probably even more disappointing ones too! Yes, as a spectacle it was a very poor performance from us but Bowie always tried to bring the game to Fleetwood and for that reason alone prefer to vote for a player who tried. Liked his ' goal' to even though it was given as offside.  From defence Guthrie whilst not up to his usual form was the pick of the defence.

Leonard, looked like he cared, as did Bowie but he made too many mistakes. Thought McWilliams was ok, but I’ve run out of positives after that.

Protest Vote when the effort of the players nowhere matches the effort & cost from the supporters

I am guessing you were in the seats Evers and would have had a better view of the offside decision than me. I thought it was a well taken "goal", but don't have a clue whether it was offside or not. What do you (or anyone else in the seats) reckon?

I was almost in line, it looked offside to me.
I actually said it as he received the ball, although it doesn't take away from the excellent touch and finish... Wink

That's good enough for me, a comment from someone who knows what they are talking about.

Burge. Ok one of the goals nutmegged him but he was unfortunate. Otherwise number of good saves kept us in the game.

I was indeed - more inline than some!  It never occurred to me he was offside at the time . There were no immediate calls from Fleetwood. However the Chron said it was unfairly ruled out!.Good enough for me!
