Fcuk me, are they comparing it to Greenwich, Woolwich and all the other dives their ground is smack in the middle of, they are smoking the hard stuff? I’ve sh1t better looking turds than that slum?

I know quite a bit of London fairly well but I'd never ventured to Charlton until we played them a few years back. I don't know why but I had in my head it might be one of the nicer areas of London (not that there are many of those).

How wrong can you be? What a toilet!! Northampton might be a bit boring and the town centre on a terminal nosedive but at least it isn't a hovel.

no wonder the Woolwich ferry is free, there’s no way anyone would pay to get to that sh1thole? On the other hand they’re missing a trick, I’d pay decent money on the trip out? Joking aside I’ve done quite a bit of work down that neck of the woods, it is a bit depressing?

Hoskins, Korboa and Rose up front, so hopefully means we intend to keep it more on the floor for this one

That Charlton side looks pretty frightening!

Lots of quality on their bench also.

Danny Rose must be a nightmare to play against.
Makes Goode look like an innocent schoolboy.

Poor old racic

He’s not really experienced enough at football to be playing for us....

Whisper it quietly, but...we seem to know what we're doing defensively for once.

Will Racic finish the match or even make half time?

Racic yellow wasn’t even a foul. Bit concerned at his prospects of seeing the game out though

Racic unfortunate to be booked, won the ball fairly, but...can't be going in with a high boot like he just did when you're already on a yellow. Liability.

Playing well, good save by their keeper but Hoskins should have scored. Played well, they don’t look very good.

Decent so far. We're actually playing some good football at times and have had the better chances so far. Racic hard done by with that booking but walking on eggshells as a result.
Korboa's looking lively, so fully expect him to be brought off for Smith at half time.  Tongue

Good defensive performance so far, although Charlton's passing has been surprisingly poor given their quality on paper.

I think we looked more fluent with Hoskins at wing-back and Seal up front on Tues, but I understand the need to bring the extra Racic in today to add some extra defensive cover.

Perhaps we'll see Curle gamble and bring on Seal or Chucks for Racic if we get to 75 minutes with the same scoreline.
