We slip into the bottom four after defeat today.....Bristol Rovers lost but all around us who played picked up at least a point. Us swapping places with AFC was the only positional change in the bottom ten.

Doncaster Rovers  v  AFC WIMBLEDON
Fleetwood Town  v  NORTHAMPTON TOWN
MK DONS  v  Charlton Athletic
Peterborough  v  BRISTOL ROVERS

I think Burton are done.
I also fancy 1 or 2 more teams slipping down the table like Fleetwood and Shrewsbury.

Burton are on lock down due to covid and are due to be tested again on wednesday to see if their game against Blackpool can go ahead on saturday. Jimmy is complaining that if the go ahead is given his players will be risking injury due to the short preperation time.
Blackpool who we play next tuesday also have covid and injury problems and are likely to be without several players.

Out of the bottom 4 after tonight on 23 points, the same as Bristol Rovers and Rochdale and 1 point less than Shrewsbury in 17th. However, the really big positive is bar Bristol and Shrewsbury are the only teams from 17th down who have now played less games than us. Wigan have played the same and the rest have played more, so a bit of a turn around on that score?

Our next eight games are very important, six of them are against teams in that frame above. Take a few points off them and things will look a lot more healthy.

Suppose though you could probably say that for most teams, Wigans next three games for example are against us, Swindon and AFC Wimbledon.

20 goals in 23 league games. We're the lowest scoring side in our division. That needs to improve or we'll slip into the bottom four sooner or later.

Edmondson does not seem to offer any more than Smith. Let's hope he has more that he hasnt yet shown us.

He can run mate, that’s a massive upgrade and he seems to have a hard working attitude.
Smith will spend the season on the bench.

We have 10 forwards in the first team squad according to the website. I reckon they're in danger of getting done by the trade description act

That's a pity as it gives Blackpool a full week to prepare for our visit on tuesday.

So you would rather we went down than MK beat one of our rivals and we stay up? Personally don’t really care about any other team and would rather any result that is best for us.
