Can’t see Shrewsbury or Burton going down, it’s going to be 4 from 6

We missed our chance by only taking 1 point in the 4 games against fellow strugglers and if we are to stay up we need to make the most of our remaining home games. Our remaining 3 games this month I think will tell us a lot about our chances, Crewe (h) don't have a great away record, Oxford (h) we usually do well in this fixture and AFC Wimbledon (a) have an awful home record and we have a good record there. Take 7 of the 9 points to set us up for a fighting chance.

Plymouth are doing their best to join us though.. Problem is they already have 45 points. If they don't pick up another 5 from their last 11 games then they deserve to go down! Three points separate the bottom 6, increasingly likely the four to drop will be from those 6 teams..... Wimbledon see their next four games all at home, we play three out of four at home, Wigan and Swindon face three away games in the next four. Wimbledon play three of the other bottom six teams in those four games. Wimbledon also have NINE of their last 13 games to play at home following the delay to their ground being opened which meant a couple of planned home fixtures early in the season were switched to away games. Next four games for each...... BRISTOL ROVERS: Away v Charlton, Away v Plymouth, Home v Swindon, Home v Sunderland NORTHAMPTON: Home v Crewe, Home v Oxford, Away v AFC Wimbledon, Home v Shrewsbury WIGAN ATHLETIC: Away v AFC Wimbledon, Away v Accrington Stanley, Home v Ipswich, Away v Gillingham ROCHDALE: Home v Peterborough, Away v AFC Wimbledon, Home v Swindon, Away v Portsmouth SWINDON TOWN: Away v Fleetwood, Away v Bristol Rovers, Away v Rochdale, Home v Blackpool AFC WIMBLEDON: Home v Wigan, Home v Charlton, Home v Rochdale, Home v Northampton

my worry is that we will draw too many games because we just struggle to score goals . To get 5 or 6 wins , we will have to score fluently and the forwards need to come to the party . There is a chance Edmo could come good and there is a chance Jones could be the new threat . Rose , Chukka and Sealo are not the answer . The first is too slow , the other two Brady doesn’t trust . Hoskins , Miller and Watson have to chip in as fo the centre halves . Only if that happens have we got a chance .

Indeed a draw is the best result, looking ahead to Saturday we probably have one of the easier games amongst the bottom 6. We need to win both our home games to have a chance, both games are against teams we normally do well against at home, draws are no longer good enough.

we are 21st two points adrift as it stands.
As it stands Burton 10 points ahead of us with a game in hand amazingly only one less than the 11 they are away from the play offs!

I thought about then for the playoffs....if they keep going as they are and get 10 wins from their last 12 games they'll have 70 odd points and be well in! In the middle of January we were 6 points better off than them and we'd played three games less! Now after tonight they could be 10 points ahead of us having played one game fewer! Another one to think about....we travelled to Oxford on 15th December and they were a place and two points below us in the table, they soundly beat us 4-0 that night and now they find themselves a point off the playoffs and 20 points ahead of us with a game in hand!
