Never in doubt. Thought Watson had a good game, didn’t see Benny on the deck once and Mitchell showed balls of steel, twice! Very enjoyable morning, I’m off on the school run, bonjour all.

Tim O had a mare with his misnaming of players tonight. Should have gone to Specsavers!
Well done BAS shows what can happen when you can stay on your feet.

Good attitude Melly! Thought that Watson was poor We were ok prior to Mitchells gaffe! Bennys goal was real centre forwards goal fought for it and great left-foot strike. Couldn't see us losing especially after their first bad miss. As for Chuck missing an open goal with no goalie where he should be! Just hope Benny's confidence takes off after that goal. £20k better off too,

Mind you so did McWilliams, but you expect it from him? Although I must admit Watson did go a bit AWOL at times second half? I thought Lines put in a shift as well, I’ve not been his biggest fan put I thought he showed bits of class at times? Bit worrying how Exeter carved us open? They were playing off our defenders shoulders and we showed all the turning capabilities of an ocean liner? You would have thought we would have been up to that old chestnut?

Welcome if slightly fortuitous win, given the sitters Exeter missed; though great credit to Mitchell for having the balls to put things right after his cock up for their goal. Surprised/delighted by Seal's goal - hope he can kick on from there. Great pity Chuks missed his golden chance, clinically picked the only spot that avoided both the goal and his onrushing team mate! Suspect he will have many more opportunities - great prospect. Not a great fan of these sort of cup games - but they often have an affect on morale, and feel this can only do good and boost it.
