It’s just infuriating that as a species we haven’t managed to evolve beyond this nonsense. Despite all the technology we often appear to be as medieval and backward as ever.

Mods,  you are going to need to close this one down as well I’m afraid.

The haters, the booers, the intolerants and the dividers will always find their way to get their bigoted, ill informed and inflammatory views over to the rest of us. Even though this constant barrage of bile really does show them up for what they are - most of us have just had enough.

We are Cobblers fans. That is the only thing that binds us. It seems this divided British society that Mr Cameron has created (although Mr Southgate did his best to unite it for a few weeks) even permeates into the discussions around our beloved team.

I suggest the Mods create a separate section for politics. That way, those that don’t want to hear the constant drivel mentioned on here by some can enjoy the company of our fellow Cobblers fans and not leave a visit to this site wanting to slash your our own wrists!

Game set and match.
When a lefty looses a debate it normally throws a hissy fit, this is in the general chat section, you accused me of pedalling misinformation, so I’ve backed up the comment with yet another example.
For the record I find racism abhorrent in ANY form.

But that’s highlighted why the ‘cancel culture’ stifles any debate. Plus the small fact that you threw your own political bias into the mix. Censorship, enforced silence and a fear of talking doesn’t solve anything and creates more issues. With facts and discussion most people can draw their own conclusions. Some will always fall for misinformation, hence why we get conspiracy theorists such as flat earthers. There’s little doubt that we will be responsible for our own downfall as a species. I blame Sam Hoskins  Tongue

Not cancelled just put in a more appropriate place.
Somewhere where you can play happily together.

To be honest, I'd like to believe that we are all in agreement about our overall aim in the fight against racism, it's just the methods of achieving it that has, and is, dividing opinion.
