Love the handle.

The only old song I remember is 'we all p*ss in a blue and white pot!!' (I think the lyrics were written by Lennon and McCartney!!).

The song was introduced during the wonderful 1962-63 season, and went as follows-
        Cobblers, Cobblers,
         Let’s have a win today,
         We’re all with you,
We’ll cheer you all the way.
          ‘Against Coventry or Swindon,
‘Til you’re in the Second Division,
We’ll shout and roar, to help you score,
‘Til you’re safe in Division Two.
A record of this awful dirge was apparently made, but I remember the song never really caught on, mainly because it was so slow and uninspiring, and to be frank rather cringe-making. In spite of the song, the best Cobblers side I ever saw went on to become Division 3 Champions. The composer of the song, obviously a lover of the apostrophe, is unknown.

What  a non de plume this chap must live there with a Sloane Ranger 😃👏
That ditty never took off and was considered old hat by the Hotel Enders. 62/63 side was that the one with Holton and Ashworth?
