No bad performances tonight (although Mitchell had a couple of heart in mouth moments). The centre backs were excellent again but it has to be Hoskins for the goal and an all-round all-action performance.

Danny Rose for me, but Marshall had a good 1st half & Sammy took his goal well. Sooo many chances created....1 shot on goal and that was enough.
Good to see Rose getting a start and he ran himself in the ground .....how we used to hate him..... buying all those free kicks when he played against us.

Several players worthy of mention; Outstanding were Horsfall, Kiatso and Jones. Very good were Watson, Mitchell, Rose and Williamson who came into his own in the last 20 minutes. Competent and profession displays from Marshall, Mills, a much improved display by Morris.
When in doubt tend to go for the goal scorer especially when it is the winning goal.
Hoskins a true NTFC player who scored a good goal; MOM for me

Great team performance but Rose gets my vote...an absolute pain to play against & a great assist.

Kudos to the defence for another clean sheet but its one of those rarest of things a goal from an attacker so I’m giving it to Hoskins

Hoskins or Rose. I think for the delicious flick right into Hoskins path it has to be Rose.

It is difficult to choose between Sammy and Rose.
On this occasion I will give it to Rose as that flick was class and he made life difficult for Oxford and won numerous free kicks.

Given a bit of thought on this as wanted to make sure it was for the right reason. A close call between Horsfall and Hoskins, but I am going for Hoskins and it’s solely on merit.
