Meanwhile weíve got a Fcukin huge game this afternoon. Just checked - nothing about Prince Philip on the Rovers fans forums - just lots of stuff about NTFC. I think Iíll spend my time on that forum for the rest of the afternoon  - donít suppose Iíll be missed anyway as Thehotelend will be busy discussing the monarchyís future in reestablishing old fashioned British values and bringing back that good old Empire spirit. Enjoy!

Don't mention the game or this thread might get merged with the match thread!!🙂

I'm not quite sure where the ire is coming from here. I thought we were just having a conversation about the issue of the day, you know, like normal grown-ups with an interest in a slightly wider range of topics than NTFC. Personally, I'm not anal enough to care whether a subject is filed under the right section or not; the subject pretty much tells you what the conversation in this thread is going to be about. If it doesn't interest you, don't read it.

For somebody that doesn't agree with this topic being here you've spent a lot of time in it. Maybe just read the threads that you might find more interesting? Just an idea.

You're missing the point. If anyone else had started a thread on a dead celebrity that the mods weren't interested in it would have been moved/locked in no time. Don't think there's  a lot of ire going on and I'm sure most people on here have a fair amount of interest in a much wider range of topics than NTFC I know I do, it's just that this is an NTFC forum where people discuss and opinionate on the ups and downs of a fourth, sorry third division football team, particularly this section of it.

This could rival the redevelopment thread if left open. The royal family are a pretty emotive topic for some.
Youíre going to look silly when you find out he played right wing for us in 1938.

Ok. Iíve got it now. Sorry for being anal. Iíll get some new political (non NTFC) threads started tonight. Or maybe this afternoon if the game is a little boring. Please note the open invitation Mods ...

I probably need to look at their forum a little closer...for the last few days, nowt about the NTFC game, aside for a fizzled out short Sixfields Hill thread (tried by a Gashead on here to exaggerate and get a reaction) a general all leagues prediction thread!

You still keep reading a thread that you don't agree with, which I find very odd. There's another 20 or so topics on the first page alone. Maybe try one of them?

Thank you. Got it now. Just a misunderstanding on how things work around here. Noted and already acted upon - until this post!!!

Exactly. But the mods may do as they please and seem to lock threads on a whim, unless it conforms to some sort of hierarchical
superiority. If for example, anyone else had started a thread on say, David Bowie RIP,  Sean Connery RIP, Christopher Hitchens
RIP, it would have been locked or moved very quickly.

i think you views on this subject are deplorable, Bowie never wrote one of his songs, Mick Ronson wrote them all, Connery is not royal, and  WHO is Hitchens,

The royal prince was a man we should all admire, worked hard all his life and helped millions by being able to care about him.
