The only positive from that was listening to Luke Graham's coherent analysis

Don't think I can remember watching a worse keeper than Mitchell play for us. Really not sure what his redeeming features are as a goalkeeper?
He thinks he's much better than he is, is that it?

Fukking load of shìte. Unless major changes are made from top to bottom we're staring oblivion in the face. I'd be looking to get rid of 90% of these players. I think we all know the only ones we'd keep, although we'll struggle to do so. Time for Mr football man KT to make it his prime objective to get his problems with the council sorted out and start delivering on his promises.

And how exactly are a few boxes and a bit of cladding going to sort out all our problems?

This 100%. KT is lucky fans were not there today, and the last few months to be fair. Root and branch change is required or we are staring into the abyss.

It might indicate the chairman is fecking interested in the club.

This game was never the one that killed us, it was the god awful Burton back-pass, the Hoskins penalty kick miss against Wimbledon, and all the other 6 pointers where we came out with 0.

I think KT has indicated often enough exactly what he is really interested in.

The shirt that we have fits him ?

So relegation it is. So disappointing, but what many of us have seen coming for a long time. Only surprise to me is that we will not finish bottom of the league.

That's not all he promised or at least suggested though is it. I agree, the finished stand as it would be, from the existing structure, would be of absolutely no benefit to anyone, but if the land and it's redevelopment are worth anywhere near some of the figures quoted on here, then KT/DB could afford to start again with the East, extend North and South stands, build conference centre, hotel, sweet shop et al and still be left with a tidy profit.

I don't blame Brady for Mitchell's howlers. Arnold is equally poor and his back injury has forced Brady's hand in terms of selection. As a manager you just cannot legislate for that kind of individual incompetence. Curle's recruitment is the primary reason for our relegation, and we have to remember that.
However, Brady's substitutions smacked of a worrying Dean-Austenesque tactical naivety today. Two things that both Curle and Brady have repeatedly failed to understand this season:
1. You cannot score if you do not have possession of the football. Taking McWilliams off meant that Blackpool started to completely dominate midfield possession. Taking Morris off would have been a much better choice, but I think Brady kept him on out of a misguided sense that he would be more 'creative'.
2. You cannot score if your crossing and creative-decision is terrible and you leave your best assist-maker on the bench until the 75th minute. Hamstring or no hamstring, Marshall should have been on way sooner today as he is our best and often only chance of an assist. As widemen, Miller and Hoskins have no creative end product and their decision making is poor.
All the talk about strikers this season has been largely missing the point IMO. Curle and Brady's constant throwing on of extra strikers has just been shuffling the deckchairs on the Titanic. The fundamental issue is the creative supply line and neither of them have done enough to address it. Strikers who can create chances for themselves with zero service are as rare as rocking **** at this level. Chuks is the nearest we've got to someone in this category and he should have been given more minutes than Edmondson and Rose today.
Having said all that, I'm not one for throwing the baby out with the bath water. IMO Brady has done just about enough to emerge as a credible candidate to take us forward. Overall, the style of play has improved, he's improved players like Watson and Horsfall and the results against the likes of Portsmouth, Ipswich and Oxford suggest that he can make an impact at this level. I'd like to see what he can achieve with a full transfer window and a fully fit squad. I just hope he learns from his mistakes in games like this. Time will tell whether he's given the 'assurances' which he needs to take us forward.

The latest offer is a completed stand, some car parking behind the completed stand, and possibly a fans village.....that’s it!

So a bit like the market square but only open once a fortnight (I havent been to Franklin Gardens). Not much of a money spinner then.

Another gutless performance. It’s not really even worth getting into the recriminations, as there is only going to be subject that saves apportioning blame elsewhere.
