Wonder if the Torquay fan who got incensed when someone here said we were a bigger than club them, and called the stadium the San Sixfields sarcastically every time afterwards is still kicking about.

I was even at Oxford City on a Tuesday night, watching the Hoops beating Torquay...they ain't got a leg to stand on!
Pish support, pish town with no decent pubs, hundreds of B&Bs....though Hartlepool would hardly be a relishing thought on any count!  Grin

If you’ve not been following…..

Notts County beat Chesterfield 3-2 and Hartlepool beat Bromley by the same score in the eliminators,
Then Torquay beat Notts County 4-2 yesterday, with Hartlepool beating Stockport 1-0 today, which means it’s Hartlepool v Torquay for a place in League 2 next Sunday.

C'mon Torquay... obviously in line with my bias towards southern teams.

The big game at Brizzle tomorrow, sorry Jeff but it has to be Torquay for me too just for the potential weekender. This despite Hartlepool being a bit closer to me at 6108 miles as apposed to Torquay 6280 so it has to be at least a weekend!

At least they can both sing "Seagulls shit on you" tomorrow.

Well it's Hartlepool for me, it's where my late Mum came from and not particularly keen on Torquays Manager either!

Personally I couldn’t care less, but the “English Riviera” does should more attractive than Hartlepool on a bitter Tuesday night.

Back on for the glory fans who think being by the seaside makes a good day!

Durham btw, before and after Hartlepool would have been good!  Wink

Keeper scored a last minute equalizer for Torquay, taking it to extra time.

Superb game, had it all. Torquay unlucky not to win in 90mins, couple of goals ruled out. Poor Billy fluffed his pen.

Maybe should sign Torquays keeper, good at set pieces!

Excellent game of passionate football, maybe the England wasters should take note. Really gutted for Torquay, their keeper must thinking he did all the hard work saving the first two pens only to be let down by his team mates.
