We’ve conceded the most late goals in the league by a distance
That's cause our defence is like granite in the first half..

Very good point in the end. Shame we couldn’t hang on for all 3.

If he’d have kept the team the same for the last 5 mins I think we would have.
Out of all the youth we have I can only see Chucks being a regular starter.

If we had beaten Blackpool, then that last minute equaliser would have relgated on goal difference.

Toggle is on fine form again.  Grin

Indeed « Marshall replaced by Jones » , 5 mins later casually mentions it was Cross - having said that he’s a fan and still does a better job than many of the other sides Ifollow commentators

I'm actually feeling a bit more glass-half-full about the Cobblers after today, which is refreshing. If they show the same fight and character they did today, I honestly think that team is one creative midfielder and one competent striker away from being a team that comes straight back up. We got our tails up as the game went on and we realised Sunderland were nothing to fear - and you'd hope we'll have the same attitude towards opponents in L2.

If we’d have got more points than 4 other teams we’d have stayed up. Grin

Unfortunately a quality playmaking midfielder and prolific striker are usually either the ones that cost the £ or are in massive demand.

Don't worry, there will be lots of 1 goal in every 20 games 'strikers' out there, and i'm sure KT will splash the cash to get one,

Cobblers front 3
Rose:   0 goals in last 23 appearances
Marshall:   0 goals in last 27 appearances
Miller:   0 goals in 11 appearances for the club

You can add an extra appearance to all 3 after today, absolutely woeful.

That is a beyond shocking stat.

How’s it even possible for our front line not to have scored a goal between them in 61 appearances!

Manager picked them today...inspite of those facts Keith. He didn't have to?
