So much negativity already.

I didn't think Forest were anything special, but bar the **** up for the 1st goal I thought our defence looked confident on the ball.  If they were knocking it about like that with Curle still in charge I'd be having kittens.  Still new players bedding in, Stamford game poor, but against WHU and Forest we looked good.  Yes, we can't hit the net.  Chuks needs to sort out what he wants to do, you in or out?  I'd say "Out" and we sign a striker.  We'll be OK.  Who doesn't like a rollercoaster? UTC

First post, no axe to grind and happy to be educated with others views.

Quite a ridiculous statement frankly!
We will be neither playing Forest or West Ham in the league this season...nor Sileby Rangers for that matter! So how you quickly jump to use words like 'relegation fodder' having scored 8 (EIGHT) goals against varying levels of opposition in friendlies is baffling!

Actually it probably isn't baffling. In a previous post, you seem to be proverbially rubbing your hands with glee at the prospect of Covid heaping more restrictions, cancellations and postponements.
Why? Because any failure on the pitch by the Cobblers will justify your petty self imposed boycott of Sixfields - never mind travelling away!

Well said.

I’m looking forward to the season as always.

Great contribution 45years.
I Haven’t seen a single second of the friendly games but that seems to sum it up well for me based on what I’ve read.
People’s first posts are always quite incisive and constructive. Don’t let this site wear you down- mind you I’ve got 45 years plus in as well, so I know you are clearly battle hardy and have your expectations firmly in check while still praying for the best.!

I'm looking forward to it. Have really enjoyed both that I've been to so far (WHU & Forest).

Very poor form. Do you not realise that DB and his puppet need your stash to place a corporate box just over your head? You call yourself a real supporter? Jesus, I have seen more committed fans in Bletchley, next to the Swedish meatball parlour.

If they could learn how to keep it, and pour it , it would help. I have had some fantastic beer, around Greater Manchester, Joseph holt. And that boozer next to Kidderminster railway station. That was good. Very good. And the food  was outstanding. "would Sir like a naan bread with his chicken curry. Yes sir would. Good day out. Very cold though.

Probably at least 2/3 of the regular support.
I get that friendlies are an almost competitive run out for the players and gives the manager a chance to judge the players in a kick about against another team and make a load of substitutions, but as a spectacle, to me, it’s not much of a spectacle. Looking forward to the real fun in 2 weeks.

I'm not!
I get that it's people's choice whether they wear masks or not, but just don't feel comfortable or safe...I mean with limited stewards at hand and possibly 500 Zulus roaming free! 🛶🛶🛶
