A win's a win but Italy will be a lot tougher. Not a penalty. Not a great performance. Compelling watching.

I was loving that keep ball, it was magnificently done! I felt very comfortable even at a goal down until it got to the last 10 minutes, then it got properly jittery!!!

Italy were my tip for winning it all along, but we have a good chance. Southgate tailors good team and tactics according to the opposition and I think Sunday's game will be a very different proposition.

One thing I’ve noticed from all the crowd shots in this tournament, hands down England have the ugliest supporters in the tournament by a distance. In fact in all my time watching sport I don’t remember such an unattractive bunch of men and women.

I thought the performance was good except for 2 things. Goalkeeper's head was all over the place, poor kicking, punching when easier to catch, fault with goal etc. PLUS, our shooting was terrible, scored 3 points about 4 times.

Despite not being the biggest England fan, it does feel a bit special and the closest to a Cobblers play off final feeling.

Italy deserved that overall. Credit to them.

Maguire and Shaw were the players of the tournament for England for me. Pickford was unexpectedly better than I anticipated.

I like Southgate, I really do. But FFS - leaving a teenager to take the final kick is criminal. I'm also not sure it's right to bring on two players that late on where they've had absolutely no chance to settle into the game before taking a spot kick under massive pressure.

Southgate of all people should know better.
