Always the anticipation of that first game of the season...a mundane home game? A good old warm awayday?
Personally, a lot on with moving and stuff, so the former would suit me!

Will we be allowed to attend? I'm not convinced this spinless government will have dared make a decision by then.

Of course we will, this spineless government has kept kept me and my family as safe as possible. On July 19th we should get the go ahead to resume normal life. Lots of heartache to come for some people but its time to open us back up to the world.

Just because you haven't had covid, doesn't mean you've been kept safe by this government. You've just been lucky.

I said the government had kept my family as safe as possible, older relatives have avoided contracting the virus through the measures put in place, myself and my wife were not so lucky as my wife works at a school in Northampton and caught the virus there passing it to me.

This could be said for any government of any country, greetings from we haven't a clue Thailand! Anyone at home, so hopefully we're away last game of the season when I'm due back in the UK on my hols, should I get a vaccine by then.

You are not alone on this sentiment tcobb. Plenty on here will support you; somebody quotes luck as if, generally you have to make your own luck! I merely dismiss it as the perennial doubters!

A boring away game for 2 reasons. First, I am away and cannot attend. Second, so that there is less pressure on the squad. If we get a point or win away from home its a bonus. If we draw or lose at home this board will be full of people saying we will get relegated, Brady needs sacking and KT is the devil reincarnate.

I remember the days when we were always away for the first few games as the pitch was still a car park for the cricket! Fancy Exeter away as I will be in Devon.

Sorry Parklands and Jolly, you talk rubbish .
I could give you umteen reasons when/how the whole thing has been badly handled, but I'll just throw one at you. The UK closes borders with Bangladesh and ****stan, and yet India - which had 30x as many cases - is allowed to remain open for travel, and relies on travellers to self-isolate. During this period, over forty thousand people travelled between India and UK. Simply put, the Indian border remained open because the UK was trying to hammer out a trade deal with India, so sod public welfare. There are literally hundreds of instances of bad decision making, and many more of very, very dubious business decisions (contracts) being handed out by this cabinet: Ministers are lining the pockets of those closest to them. Not a conspiracy theory. It's simply a fact. Go check for yourself, the information is out there. If you rely on Murdock or the BBC for your news, you will get no news.
