Oldham away is always better in summer and on a Saturday - a midweek winter game is a miserable experience
Too true. Bloody cold up there in winter.

I'm the same. Every year I go through the fixtures and highlight the away games I want to go to, Harrogate is the only one.

Last game of the season at Barrow means a few days in the Lake District, excellent.

Be careful of Hales bar. After eight o clock it changes, from a real ale pub (very good ale), to a place where there will be drag queens sitting on your knee, or a TS chasing you around armed with a fly swatter. Cross dressers. Each to their own, it was an eventful evening, but I wont be going back.

My God it's draining looking at those. I hate playing Bradford.

It's very uninspiring. No local derbies, no big clubs, long away travel. Not much to get excited about. But we knew that was the case before the fixtures were released. I'm on hols for the first game so will only see 3 home games before October and don't much fancy the away games!

Be careful? Oh dear we have a long way to go, don't we? Sounds like my kind of place on a number of levels.

It’s not until you look at the fixture list that you realise how tough the league’s going to be this year. We’ve got a difficult looking start and end to the season - I wish I could be more optimistic but based on the calibre of the new recruits my expectations have plummeted. Sc***horpe away on 30th December looks inviting 🙄.

What? After 8 they hide the real ale behind a pot plant and introduce colourful cocktails? You are living in the dark ages my friend.

Away to Coventry in the 1st round of the League Cup.
Where do Coventry play? Is it still Birmingham?

Pretty pleased personally with the fixtures. All pretty rubbish/mundane to begin with - moving and stuff around that time. Barrow away for final game...interesting!

Something similar for a few of us in Lancaster, after Morecambe, the season we took a thousand up there!
