Also, isn't it sad, that when one person pitches in with a "hilarious" put down, several other knobheads have to pitch in too and there's nearly always one common denominator. It's actually akin to bullying.
most of the regular posters are all mates, who huddle together for protection, sweet isn't it. i know most of these 'ladies' and there a really scary bunch of internet warriors,

I was unhappy with this but in line with recent events^^^, it's now the best bit of news I've heard all year
.........................
Not sure of your angle here administrator. Care to explain
Anyway, as you didn't respond to my post, I'll interpret your post as I see it. Apologies if I've misinterpreted it; Your life is so sad and uninteresting, that the highlight of your year is someone having to slightly alter their holiday plans. What a sad and spiteful individual you must be. I think you're the fanzine man and having regularly bought your fanzine and amicably passed the time of day with you, thought you were actually a decent bloke. Not sure what I've done to upset you so much.

I can confirm that The Marquis is not the Fanzine man...

Mark Kennedy is 'fanzine man' one of the nicest guys anyone could meet...nearly as amicable and tolerant as Phil_in_Npton!

It's a shame we're not playing this lot on Tuesday. Confidence would certainly be high after the start we've had.

Yes you're probably right. A rest now could be beneficial.

Mixed feelings about this. We'll be a game behind for a month and will fall down the table, however we maintain our 100% record for another week. The rest may do us good, although when you're winning you want to play every possible game.

Good Morning
I think Newport fans would be reasonably happy to swerve this one at the moment. Only because the wheels don’t seem to be rolling smoothly so far. Personnel issues, with injuries and new signings seem to be a bit jumbled at the moment and time to sort it might be helpful.

Despite not playing tonight, remarkably we stay in fourth place, so it was a good night's rest!

At the start of the season I thought it would be a close with all the teams beating each other and probably quite a lot of draws. Interesting that the 3 bookies favourites, Salford, Bristol Rovers & Exeter have only 1 win between them and 2,3 & 2 points respectively. A poster on here was praising KC’s summer recruitment yet Oldham have lost all 3 games. I think it will continue to be a pretty unpredictable league so I hope people don’t start to lose their sh1t if we lose a couple of games.

I think Exeter are yet to score even this season?

I think unfortunately people will lose their sh1t if we lose a couple, that's just what they do! Let's not be too reactionary to a defeat or a win, play the long game and see how things pan out.

I was sitting behind Gandhi once at Halifax Town away. Got talking, decent chap to be fair, though did have a passing resemblance to Mr Magoo. Anyway, he told me he'd lost his s*** down the pan...asked me if I could help him recover it! I politely declined, but wished him well in his Indian crusade, but did warn him that the Punjab region weren't his greatest fans! Think we lost 2-1 at the Shay!
