Melly, so many things are much better this season than last - in fact, I can’t think of anything that is worse. You are of course correct, it’s much too early to panic but the signs are clearly there for us to be concerned about strikers. In answer to your question - there have been several targets that might have been the answer but they’ve all slipped through our fingers (including Big Harry!), so now we’ve got to pray for a loanee - a Morton not an Edmundson!! I’ve only seen the 2 home league games this season but there is no doubt in my mind that we have the midfielders that are creating more for the forwards than last season. I think Kion has been a little unfortunate so far - he will come good. However, even though it’s early days I think we need to consider Rose and BAS as permanent bench warmers until we can get more personnel.

"My three children were born in Northamptonshire so I like to think I'm an adopted Northamptonian and it's the same for Rico and Sammo. It means a lot to us because this is our county.

'Big Harry' would have seriously weakened Saturday's team.
