A huge credit to Newport the way they've played.
Agreed… looked like they were going for promotion

I wouldn’t mind a bit of our luck at the moment… Fcuking great result.
Can’t believe it. I was soooo low leaving Sixfields to the tones of Exeter’s party yesterday. Makes the long trip to Barrow all the better now….

Good Evening,
…. And there you have it, the frustration of being a football fan. If only that performance was evident in recent matches. Still, £1 on Haynes to score first at 60/1, and Mrs_in_Npton adding £2 @ 5/1 on a Newport win, a profitable day. Glad to have helped the Cobblers along, hopefully extends my visa to visit here for a bit longer!

Makes the point on Saturday seem like a win. Was always hoping 4 points would be enough from the last two. Needless to say it’ll be no mean feat to win at Barrow. A draw might be enough but unlikely.

I tell you what, I wouldn't mind seeing Dominic Telford in a claret shirt next year. A front two of him and Appere with Pinnock firing crosses into the box, anyone? Mouthwatering.
Should imagine JB would want more from him based on todays performance.

Going up to Barrow a lot is in our favour;
- settled side (Mcgowan possibly not available). - on a good run. - we are finally looking decent up front (Eppiah must surely do better next Saturday). - Barrow have nothing to play for other than pride and we always say the Table doesn't lie. - a strong defence that rarely let's us down. - every incentive.
I hope we've done our research on them and their pitch.
PS Our average gate this season is better than seven sides in League One (and that's with some very large away supports boosting those home crowds in League One).

They can play as hard as they like, they are just not good enough.

They can play as hard as they like, they are just not good enough.
In their last 5 games they’ve beaten Forrest Green & Sutton, drawn with Salford, while Swindon & Exeter both needed very late goals to beat them. In that time everyone they’ve played has been given a very difficult game, so I don’t see any reason to think Saturday will be any different.

Winslow Lee, we have already had that discussion but Larry thinks they are just going to roll over and get their tummies tickled - a view not shared by any other poster so far. Anyway back to today and I was not particularly concerned when Port Vale equalised as I expect them to drop points next week but very good the way today panned out. Now onto the final leg of the rollercoaster and only 2 things stand in our way, Barrow and the Scunny defence. Ideally we could do with a similar 1st half to the unexpected one we had at Leyton Orient to pile more pressure onto Bristol Rovers. Does anyone know if the beam back from Barrow will have any commentary?

I still fear Bristol Rovers...... Barton should have them practising a four up front formation all week....nothing to lose, they're still in the playoffs even if they lose which is highly unlikely!
Playing at home to relegated Scunny, who have only won once away from home, have the worst goal difference in the league, have scored the fewest away goals in the league, have conceded the most away goals in the league......I fancy Rovers to score seven or eight!
