I thought Roberts immediate reaction was enough of a clue. Doubt for a second he would have been that intense if he was trying to con the ref.
Bradys metre from the line comment afterwards didn't help though.

Love the "the linesman is a vegan" chant but pretty honest comments all though

Pretty clear from even an iPhone shot the ball didn't completely cross the line - difficult I suspect for anyone in the West or North Stand to know but the ifollow view  Wink was reasonably clear............

It’s what manager’s do. No different to theirs "For their equaliser, Nicky definitely got caught but sometimes you get those decisions and sometimes you don't and we didn't get that one and the lad finished it very well.“

Either he can’t have seen it, or he is on hard drugs.

Yeah of course, but a metre? Hardly credible is it?
FGR manager can say what he wants. I already don't give a fcuk what he thinks or how much of a tit he wants to make of himself.  Grin

Another of football life‘s ironies Mitch gets booked for taking his shirt off but a Cadden blatantly cheating to. the point of embarrassment gets away with it (well didn’t really) but which action is the more damaging for the reputation of football?

Not normally a fan of watching videos of people watching something but some good footage from the lad. Best I've seen that clearly shows it wasnt over.
Fair play to their fans for seeing it for what it was and having a bit of a laugh with it.

But surely they can understand why we celebrated like we did at the end. Its nothing to do with FGR, it would have been nothing to do with any specific team. It was the fact that we had gotten what we deserved (think a draw was fair) against the team top of the league, when we had been put in an ever harder position by the incompetent officials guessing.

I'd see a few comments on social media too about being so excited to get a point against little FGR (their words not mine). I almost felt it was too self deprecating from them. They are top, the best team in this league by some stretch and will win it comfortably. Not sure this year the team in second will be by far the best footballing team  Wink  Grin

Also think this will be huge for the squad, 3 loses and dropping down the league could have had a negative impact on moral, those sort of wins can galvanise and get confidence back up. Another bonus might be when attracting new players, can see the team dont give up, see the passion of the fans, and we are still promotion candidates.

The linesman should be held to task for that decision .
He had no way of seeing it but gambled . Tantamount to cheating .
As for us - we deserved a draw but i don’t get how people think we played well.
We gave the ball away constantly and decision making on the ball was very poor .
Koiki ,McWilliams . Sowerby and Lewis couldn’t find their own man too often and we got away with it .
Defensively we weren’t too bad but it has to improve

So much happened in the game I'd almost forgotten about the FGR left back wearing "budgie smuggler" shorts, surely that must be illegal in this day and age with young children present !  Grin

That was one of the things I took away from the game.

They were normal shorts, he just spent every second tucking them up to show off his legs I presume. If he put as much effort into defending he might of stood half a chance.

Antonio does similar for West Ham...

I like Koiki a lot - he is an exciting player but several times trying to be a bit too clever he gave the ball away in a dangerous position on the left and playing so far up field left us somewhat exposed. Not sure I agree on McWilliams though - I thought some of his passing was excellent. Sowerby got stuck in but Lewis for me perhaps not as involved as the others.

I thought both Sowerby and McWilliams played well, I just wish they would try to drive the team forward more often instead of making a safe pass. Koiki can be erratic but also exciting, Lewis makes the odd clever little pass but although he is said to run further than any one else, he is one paced and rather powder puff.
Both teams were guilty of regularly giving the ball away, but that often leads to a quite exciting game, which it ultimately did on Saturday. A last minute goal often helps!

Is Brady still behind this twitter account? https://twitter.com/backofthenetfc1/status/1483077745877950466?s=20

Little bit embarrassing if so. First team manager tweeting an EFL highlights show.

Agree with this. The celebrations weren't because it was FGR but down to the injustice, relief of not only this point but stopping the run of losses. Could be a start of another good run. Also as it was so deep into injury time lots of fans would have left their seats and be stood on the walkways giving themselves much quicker access to the pitch. Had I been down there I would have got caught up in it too.

I thought this too. Especially as they haven't taken down the comments. The Quest show is on early so must record shortly after the final whistle so they didn't have the time we all did to see all the pics, videos etc. Also have several other games to review and gather thoughts on. They called it as they saw it, wrongly but dont think they were disrespectful in their analysis. They got how embarrassing the FGR player was spot on
