A summer beer fest might be an idea but again cant have it as sixfields as people would have to drive.
I think a beer festival is a good idea but they do hold one at Delapre , maybe we could tempt them to bring it to Sixfields  Smiley

If your elderly or have health issues you really don’t want it so stay safe everyone
Hopefully il be ok for august roger  Wink

If anyone on here doubts this they can buy me a ticket for the weekend and il sit next to them  Grin

Not really as I wouldn’t wish it on anyone.
Ps
Sorry for taking the thread off topic but after the time I’ve had I actually think it’s crazy that masks are being dumped.
A bit too early imo
Anyway stay safe everyone

As you know I don't always appreciate some of your more misleading posts but any person suffering from Covid deserves best wishes and speedy recovery. It would be churlish not to wish them well.

The beer festival a few seasons' back (final home game of the season versus Yeovil) behind the North Stand was really good...and a success.
Can be done!

A few clubs have done Netflix documentaries. I dont think we are interesting enough for something like that but could kill two birds with one stone and apply to be on DIY SOS The Big Build.

OK, I've been accused on the "January signings" thread  where its been posted  "We've even had The Trust digging at the club that we don't do enough quiz nights to buy new tv's. It's getting so boring now."
So here we go, if NTFC provide me with a Framed signed shirt, a couple of hospitality tickets for a game of their choice and a few small prizes, all of which will cost NTFC next to nothing, I'll organise a raffle to raise enough money to buy 2 decent new TV 's for Carrs Bar.
I'll need some help selling tickets so any help from here would be welcome

Why doesn't the Trust just buy a TV with the donations held from supporters?
If your need is to have a TV to watch when meeting your friends for a beer, if the intention is to get that TV replaced and not to call out the club for not replacing it or not raising funds for it....
Why not just pay one of the club's electrical sponsors Lee Ives or Lee Warren to go in and install a new one?
Supporters Trust would get far more support for a positive spin like that.

I think the days of league club raising a couple of hundred pounds here and there are disappearing fast, Sutton and its supporters are still non league, hence their small time ideas. I think a TV in a Bar that only a small percentage of fans use is not  high on a to do list.

So if it's not the money stopping NTFC replacing the TV's what is stopping them ? I didn't go into the Supporters Bar at Sutton but I'd have a bet that the TV's work
So that particular "small percentage of fans" don't matter ? The ones that spend their money in a bar where the club get the profit, who could get their beer a lot cheaper at the top of the hill where all the TV's work, but would rather put their cash into the club  Huh? Angry
What if the club had faulty TV's in the 1897 Corporate bar, that is used by an even smaller percentage, and failed to replace it in 7 months despite customers informing them, it sends out a poor message to the people who use that facility, Carrs Bar should be no different.
So tcobb which is it, in your opinion, that's stopping NTFC replacing the faulty TV, money or they can't be bothered ?

Apparently there’s a rumour going around they’ve now lost the remote on the remaining telly.

You didn't answer my question Rog.
If the Trust had funds for a TV.
The supporters want a TV.
Why not buy the TV with funds raised by the supporters?

I don't know how many times I have to repeat this
I am not on the Trust board, if you have a question for the Trust ask them, I can't answer for them as I'm not on the board !

I don't want a tv. I want a video jukebox with old celluloid originals of Fritz Lang and Bunuel.
