I think we will play a goalkeeper (either Burge or Bulge) and 10 outfield players.

And it is Magloire not Maglorie and Sherring and not Sheering.
Your OCD getting the better of you old boy.

Yes Manny but in my case it's Occupational Corrective Disease. I thought when you put Maglorie that the dyslexia had kicked in again.

                    Burge

Lintott.  Magloire   Guthrie    Koiki

                 McWilliams
         Fox.                 Leonard

  Bowie.        Aperre            Hoskins

If Magloire. Not fit then Dyche @ CB.
Can’t decide over Aperre or Hilton, but gone with Aperre as think he’s coming into form
Time to drop / rest Pinnock IMO as he’s not hit form and needs to know he is not undroppable, and hopefully get a reaction from him. Bowie also deserves his change.

Plan B - a team full of super Sammy Hoskins !!! Smiley

For me the most well thought out team (admittedly a game!) selection so far - who would not agree with that team? Brave enough to drop Pinnock and select Magloire who from some quarters has been the butt of very early and unfounded criticism. Will Brady and Co think in a similar manner Cool ?

It would not surprise me if we go with an unchanged team from Tuesday if Magloire is fit, he could be as he went off with back spasms. Sherring was said to being close to fitness again so he could come in. Bowie will probably have to make do with a place on the bench again as I don't think JB will start with 2 strikers away from home.

Id rather we stick with the same starting 11, need a bit of continuity. Too much fiddling is a bit too much Curlesque for my liking.

I wouldn't worry about continuity at the minute. It's about finding the right combinations, that's without the injuries at the back piling up. When the autumn starts is when Brady should know and be looking to play the same XI every week.

Autumn?

When is that?  When the leaves change colour and start falling off? That seems to have started already in many places.

Solar autumn was 1st August
Meteorological autumn will be 1st September
Astronomical autumn will be 22nd September

Speaking of Brady, think maybe saled under the radar a bit, but with the strong start to this year, his win percentage as perm boss is only beaten by Calderwoods 1st spell and Wilder until you go back to 1973.

It has all been at the 4th tier, and the football entertainment has been somewhat lacking (excluding the last game), but that is a very solid record for the management team.

So after playing 4 teams that are currently in the bottom half of the table we finally play one from the top half. Crewe have only scored 1 goal in their last 3 games as 5 of the 6 scored were in winning the 2 opening games of the season. Since then they have had 2 away tonkings 0-4 at Grimsby (cup) and 0-3 at Salford but they returned to winning ways on Tuesday beating Sutton 1-0 at home, but in that game Sutton had 20 shots to Crewe's 10.
Crewe have quite a young side and have a number of players out injured although earlier in the week it was reported 2 of these could be back this weekend, speculation is that one of these could be Rod McDonald. They also have a player missing with a suspension. They had an awful season last season only gaining 29 points, conceding 83 goals with a goal difference of -46 goals so I am a little surprised they currently occupy 6th place and will be more surprised if they finish the season in the top 7.
Our record at Crewe is pretty good returning with some points from 50% of our visits and I expect us to bring some points home tomorrow but we need to improve at the back, about time we kept a clean sheet.

I think they do in Ireland and the Netherlands. I am back home in Yorkshire now,  where I believe some people give it a go when it isn't raining, but I rate it on a par with golf for most boring sports to play or watch.

I think you may have misdiagnosed yourself, it seems more like acute constipation old boy.
