No match thread this late on a Thursday, so to start things off we have a curiously bad record over Dale in recent times. Just 1 win in 19 League and Cup games since 2005 and no win in the last 12 meetings. We should be good enough to beat them this weekend despite our injury concerns. Hoping a couple may be back including at least a cameo from Josh Eppiah. Dale still haven’t won though this season and we all know how teams coming to Sixfields on a bad run can certainly find their form.
I predict a steady 2-0 win though, another clean sheet to back up the one on Tuesday and hopefully some of the teams above slip up.

Looks like we will be without Shaun which is a pity because we are so much better with him and Sowerby in the middle . It also means Leonard can’t play further forward and has to be disciplined . I just hope we keep Pinnock wide because he is so much more effective there . Maybe Bowie in the 10 role .

Bottom of the table Rochdale have certainly been a bogey team and last season completed the double over us with a deserved 3-1 win here and 2-0 there. 5 of their 6 defeats have been by a single goal the exception being a 0-3 loss at Swindon. After losing their first 5 games they achieved draws at home to Crawley and away at Carlisle and should have had a third on Tuesday but missed a penalty in added time to lose 0-1 to Leyton Orient. They have left here with some points from over half of their visits, we have 15 wins, 9 draws and 9 defeats. In goal Rochdale have one of our former players in Richard O'Donnell who, like KVV, thought he was too good for division 2 and promptly jumped ship when we got relegated and joined Bradford in division 1. Also like KVV who rejoined Sc***horpe he was then relegated the following season and has since been released by Bradford. Referee is Sam Purkiss. This will not be as easy as it appears from our league positions but I take us to be good enough for another 3 points.

I’m going 5-0. Same result as 86/87, would be a fitting tribute.

Probably the most i've enjoyed the football at Cobblers since god knows when. I'd happily watch us lose with Bowie and Leonard in the side 20 times over compared to a Curle ball 1-0 win.
Possession based football at the cobblers, would have thought it inpossible
That said, Maglorie's hamstring injury is a bitter blow. He's been so good last few games.
